  1. The weird thing that started today is a very frequent 429 error code, even though the requests are way below the limit. Havent measured it, but it feels like a 60 limit instead of a 600 one.
  2. Maybe. But also maybe its a bug, since there is nothing official on this, not even in patch notes.
  3. Since there is no official mention of this, and it's not in the patch notes it feels like a bug. The JP chest used to be available once per character. Now it's once per account. Please fix.
  4. Check the other thread about this issue for a temp solution while Anet make a fix.
  5. Yep, you're not restarting it, just resuming it. If you progressed beyond the party i don't think can restart it anymore.
  6. Have you tried to restart it multiple times? With every time recieving the mail from rama again. I got mine right with restarting. Couldnt see the bottle, neither had the option at first.
  7. No, the option to give is not the same as the option to buy it. You must have the optional thing before you enter the instance with Rama. Its also tied to the city of your race(Divinity Reach for human, Black Citadel for charr, etc). (already bought the alchohol, am human) https://imgur.com/a/jT1EOXM
  8. It seems to be a bug with the quest itself. After receiving the mail from Rama for the party you should have an optional task to buy alcohol. You probably dont have it. To fix it restart the chapter. Quit it, start another chapter, then restart the 16th one. Recieve mail from Rama and you might get the optional task.
  9. Another ninja update that makes jumping puzzle chests once per account per day. It was once per character per day. Its not even in the patch notes.
  10. Costly as in gold? Not really. Costly as in frustration of the Research notes system. Oh yeah! Just make them tradable as the ambergris/jade runestone and we'll be golden.
  11. Yep same thing here. have Dungeon Master title, 800 runs for the hobby, not a single opened tab.
  12. What we need is to get more changes on the research notes. The cost itself for 10K is nothing special - 100-200 gold. But its seriously frustrating to go through the entire process of obtaining them. Not to mention its not 10K but more like 1 Mil for all the skins(if next versions also requite 10K each). After going though the 40K for the aurene weapons I thought I was done. Silly me. Had some leftover mats for my first zaithan variant and got the 10K for it. But at this point I'm currently way too disgusted from the research notes system that I don't want to even go near it. For me personally its almost a "blocking" issue.
  13. And what exactly stops you from using these "broken mechanics" to win? Yes its a "kitten show", there are many problems that make PvP less fun than it could be. "broken mechanics", class unavailability, match type unavailability, ranked dual joins, horrible desertion penalties and even worse anti-afk management that make the matchmaking absolute horror in some cases and many more. But statistically none of those affect your ability to win. Well the thing is what is "competitive"? Platinum? Don't we already have, not one, but multiple platinum+ viable builds? Maybe top 3 montly? But don't you need extensive training, including training with all classes to study their weaknesses, to reach it? And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the top monthly teams the same group of players that we see every month, playing more or less the same classes? If you don't have the dedication to reach the very top, you can still have a lot of fun with any class at Platinum or below. If you want to go up more, you'll have to work for it and GW2 gives you the tools to do it. This is true for all MMORPGs I've played, multiclass training included. And then class-class expectations come. New classes and their abilities are always "broken"; there are useless classes; people see that their class is weaker/st without ever trying another; people quit because everything is unbalanced; etc; etc. In this sense class-class balance, a complete balance, is indeed impossible - you cant match everyone's expectations. Yes it can be more fun if we had more variety at the top of the meta lists, but will never be enough. If we want to not lose people in pvp, focusing on class-class balance is not ideal.
  14. You should reread my post. 5v5 is balanced, as well as all other pvp modes. While you have skewed view on what balance is and blame a non-existing poltergeist, you'll never have fun in pvp.
