  1. Sure my "lenghty" forum post is pushing people away from the game they love sooo much lol. Its not the game that has problems its people like me who push others away from it! Shame on me! Also i never said that gw2 as a whole is unfun. As you can read (at least i hope so) even in the first paragraph i explicitly said "gw2 pvp" and not gw2. And don't worry. I already stopped playing gw2 pvp and now get my urges for pvp met in another game. - so don't worry i won't push the 100 people and 500 bots away from pvp which love it so much! Oh, ok. I didn't now that. Seems it is just a question of time till people will flock to this awsome pvp mmorpg! Jokes aside - your right that fun is subjective (which i already said in my post) and that subjective observations aren't factual arguments. But i can use the low population of pvp as an argument since its a fact. So if its not about fun then why dou you think most people choose to not participate in pvp? Have a great day too!
  2. I mean why WOULD anyone choose gw2 PvP over another game? Sure, fun is subjective. But given the low population i think the answer is pretty clear: Its just not fun. The game has many extremly unfun mechanics, bad balance which often promotes extremly uninteractive builds/playstyles, relatively rare updates/events for PvP, awful matchmaking (in parts obviously due to the already low population) and a pretty steep learning curve for beginners (at least in my opinion) . Oh and as a bonus you obviously get the typical toxicity of PvP (especially great if such behavior is shown by "ambassadors" lol). So why wouldn't people just go play something else or invest there time into something worthwhile?
  3. because there are 20 people that have been playing this game for years, have nothing else to do and most people quit long before investing nearly as much time as them into the game. Fixed that for you.
  4. Is this literally a post suggesting that thieves should be nerfed if only because veteran thieves make new players feel poopy? You know what else is uninteractive? When a ranger opens up on you with a longbow from 40 light years away and then once you put him on the back foot he goes invulnerable for 20 years. And no, before you say it, I don’t have problems with rangers. The good ones are fun to fight, the majority of rangers are bad because the class attracts weirdos who want a pet friend in a video game. (I’m joking mostly, you rangers keep doing do you). No, i was suggesting that Gw2 vets have sunken so much time into this game, that they often aren't objective about bad mechanics which hurt the game.Just like you instantly get defensive cause you think i just want to "nerf" your dear thief.Even tho i think it should be pretty clear for anynone that nobody really advocates to just tune down/remove stealth without changing talents and skills. There is a big difference between "nerfing" something (like turning down the numbers) and "reworking" something cause it's just not fun and limits the potential of the game.
  5. Stealth (and Deadeye in particular) in WvW is pretty much the epitome of uninteractive and awful game design in PvP.Not that anything will change about it tho.Veterans will keep defending unfun game mechanics like they have for years and most new players will probably continue to just move on to other games.
  6. a condi build being stupid easy to play and stomping everyone in pvp? Wow what an unexpected situation which has never happend before.
