  1. Why isn't it possible to convert PvP League Tickets into Ascended Shards of Glory or Ascended Shards of Glory into PvP League Tickets ? I am in a situation where i need ascended shards, i am getting them at a slow rate but i have some league tickets that i have no use to.
  2. I didn't mention 5v5 deathmatch Guess you are just looking to throw arguments. The game has Deathmatch and it is in form of 3v3 and 2v2, making that permanent will be much more viable than the 5v5 that you are talking about. The idea was to have casual players also in pvp, to let them learn the specs and fighting scenarios, not to spawn camp and rampage through noobs, idk why you even picked up on that idea proving you are just looking to throw arguments instead of looking for what i was truly saying.
  3. Each day i am proven that people need a permanent deathmatch environment. Conquest is too long, needs to much attention on map for nodes. People who come off work will be too tired to pay attention to that. In contrast the Deathmatch is way shorter, need to pay attention just to the fights and can help people to understand much faster how their class/spec work in a fighting scenario. IMO Conquest can be too overwhelming for new players that have to deal with fights, do not know their class and have to do nodes and rotations also.
  4. 'Aight...the whole point was to give Anet ideas on how to play with the environment to bring casual players to pvp, get some money out of pvp and to save the pvp mode. Comparing the 2 environments we have : Conquest and 2v2/3v3 Conquest is harder than 2v2/3v3, why? -> Rotations, team play, hold points, score etc. 2v2/3v3 is easier than Conquest, why ? -> Deathmatch, focus on surviving and dealing damage, no score, no rotations, no holding points Casual players will be inclined to have something simple to do and get rewards out of it. That's why 2v2/3v3 would have rewards smaller than Conquest. Elites will be inclined to have something harder to do, that's why they are Elites. Search for players to make a team, learn the maps, learn to rotate, lots of communications and testing with the team etc. They will be much more organized than casual players and they will want to do that because they will get more rewards out of conquest. Yeah, this will split the community in pvp but will give the casual player a chance to choose. Play 2v2/3v3, get used to the game ,learn the class, learn combos and all that without thinking about nodes, rotations, if you like it you can search for a team, if not, stay in 2v2/3v3 and enjoy it as you like it.
  5. You got a point here As we all know making money in a pvp game without P2W is by selling skins. Now i do have an idea for this that might work: Have skins obtainable only in pvp ( some base version ) or Have paid skins, with real money, usable only in pvp environment. Don't get me wrong here, i am betting on the fact that people that see something that they like and might give a shot to pvp in hopes they would like it. I am no expert in this stuff but this is a small idea that i came up on the spot. Maybe if refined or some ideas added to id will make it better. Maybe even go to the path of battle passes for pvp ( ik, we don't like battle passes but the devs can't just work for free on a game mode that doesn't produce money) Have the battle pass give additional pvp league tickets, pvp only skins at the end or other stuff worth mentioning. There are ideas that can be put together to bring more people in pvp and to also make money out of it. Our talk right here, all of us, proves that there are things that can be done for the pvp community to have it together, play, enjoy and make the devs some money so that all can be happy at the end of the day. Sure, they would invest time and stuff into these things, but that would be a start for them to make money out of it and not ignore it for ages as they did already. Still, let the ideas and opinions flow guys. Things are worth mentioning.

Good point made there I am not looking to get rid of conquest or something like that, that's why i said more rewards for conquest and 2v2/3v3 should have the same amount of rewards as conquest does now. My initial intention was from the start to want to keep both and have them available all the time. I am one of those that love 2v2/3v3 more than Conquest. But it's not like i hate conquest, it is still enjoyable, the thing is that for most people it's hard to have that map awareness. Some of them just want to smack heads after a long day at work or something like that but can't do it because 2v2 and 3/3 are locked for the duration of conquest seasons. Poll was made to see how many people prefer ranked conquest or ranked 2v2/ 3v3

Sure, i missed the afk stuff and participation rewards, but i did mention "some balancing and tunning and this can go really well actually." in which there could go the afk stuff In fact all the mentions could go in the balancing and tunning so the game mode would be fair and fun to play. I've got an idea.   8. PVP = Clown fest and a lot of people could agree with me on this. One simple change can get the pvp out of this hell hole. Make 2v2 and 3v3 available during the season. Raise the rewards for ranked pvp conquest and bring the 2v2 and 3v3 ranked to the current reward level of conquest. Conquest will still be played because it will have higher rewards if a team works together for nodes and points, but people who can't handle that will go to 2v2 and 3v3 to get rewards from there. IMO this will be a great thing to do, i've also seen people enjoying more 2v2 or 3v3 seasons than conquest long season. + some balancing and tunning and this can go really well actually.   9. Everybody complains about reaper greatsword animation being slow. After the vindicator double dodge + animation speed increase....i think this can be done also to greatsword reaper auto attacks and Gravedigger (second skill from greatsword). Don't get me wrong, all pvp players + some from pve complain about this, not just me and it feels kinda unfair for the buff to happen on vindicator and not on reaper greatsword as well.
  10. Loremaster trait needs to be tunned for PVP only, the page regeneration for Firebrand without Loremaster is too slow and with it it's still too slow to make use of the tomes. I suggest making the Loremaster trait regenerate 1 page after 5 seconds instead of 6 second. With this change i can see some PVP firebrand support or condi damage in play without getting it broken.
  11. Update: Found something interesting. Idk if it's intended but it is weird Renewed Justice renews the virtue of skill 1 after killing a mob ( the passive, saying that it burns every few attacks ) I know this because now we have red icons indicating that the passive of the tome is on CD on the boon bar, but as soon as you kill a mob your red icon indicating that the virtue passive is on cd disappears, meaning that the passive is active again and your attacks will burn every few attacks again. what's the point of Renewed Justice doing this if we have the new Quickfire that retains the passive of tome 1 no matter what you do. These 2 traits are almost the same. Quickfire keeps the passive of tome 1 and the other refreshes the passive of tome 1 every kill. Giving that in pve you are constantly killing stuff, Renewed Justice becomes Quickfire in some way.
  12. Took 2 mobs, killed them, no page were renewed ( funny is that it consumed 1 page but didn't renew 1, that's what i was expecting because of the new changes).
