  1. I had to make a post on this since it poped up in my feed. Lets talk about that line first. How is thief, guardian, and mesmer a pet class? Thieves don't even summon any thing without using thieves guild and are you telling me you are losing to thieves USING THIEVES GUILD? Second, WvW is designed to be unfair. Yes thieves are unfun to fight in WvW due to the ability they have to reset, but that isn't solely because of stealth they are able to just shadowstep and break combat because the WvW in combat breaks to easy due to it not being designed for small scale fights. Third, thief in general is a harder class to play THE CORRECT WAY. Yes any one can spam three like a lot of thieves do to get kills on low skilled players. So its only natural for it to be more punishing to fight. Fourth, If you really wanted them to fix the balance in WvW for smaller scale fights there is two simple ways to do that. The first would be to nerf CELE gear in WvW, if cele gear had the same stats as it did in PvP no one would use it. The second thing to do would be to just put in the PvP combat/ make it harder to break combat in WvW. The downsides of that is in large fights it would be a little bit of a problem, and that is what WvW is designed around. The balance in GW2 has never been prefect to begin with, but there are some outliers that are just straight not fun to fight. I actually do agree that thieves are not fun to fight but I DO NOT think they are overpowered as a class.

  3. Hello all, I hope to the ones reading this that you are having a good day. I will just get right into it. The EoTM map which is edge of the mists for the ones who have forgotten or never played it is one of the better WvW maps on Guild Wars two. I miss the days of having 150 players on map and still some how having outnumbered due to people being able to join off of friends. Sure EoTM wasn't prefect as it was mainly just used to level up alts and karma farm, but it was still fun. Not to mention when you had a pugmander that looked for fights as well as trying to get experience for the zerg it was a lot of fun. I would like to see EoTM get used again, or at least the map for the game mode. There is very little reason to let the map just go to waste it has very few uses as of right now. I would suggest just giving experience back to EoTM and leaving normal WvW as it is now in terms of no experience. I know that some people may think that EoTM was pointless or what not, but it was fun for the people who did it. I don't see the reason to not let players play the game how they want to. If they want to karma train on a slight PvP game mode map I do think they should be allowed to do that. It would be sort of like the new Call of Duty DMZ game mode if you're familiar with that. Players could just ktrain all day long on the map, or maybe get a few people together and engage in PvP. I think that at the very least the map should be used in some other way than it is now, maybe like a rotation EBG map or something. As it stands now the map is just going to waste and I would like to see it used at the very least if the game mode itself can not come back.
  4. I have played about 30sh games of Willbinder over the beta and here are my thoughts on it. It is worse than Dragonhunter, it does not have the sustain that it does, nor does it have a lot more mobility than it as well. It also lacks damage that Dragonhunter as well. I believe the fixes to these problems are fairly simple if Anet sees them as problems. First change the courage virtue for Willbinder to give stab when it is pressed. Second I do not believe any of the new utility skills of Willbinder are worth it other than maybe the stun break evade I do not know how to fix these problems. For the spin kick give it probably a 5% increase in damage, but even then I do not think it will see much play. Third I think the numbers on the sword offhand need to be MUCH higher to see it be ran any in PvP, it has to actually be worth the trade off from focus. Fourth I would like to say it needs more mobility I have been chased down by almost every class out there, but yet this is supposed to be a fast class. There are many other ways to "fix" the spec but I believe these would be the easiest
