This game suffers enough already from too many ridiculously oversized skins. At some point enough is enough. The funny thing is, I went and looked at it again in the preview window instead of just in the gem store, and when holstered you can see that the thing actually has a much smaller blade bit that the big glowy part comes out of, so the realistically could have made the glowing blade more appropriately dagger-sized instead of the sword-length thig they went with. Oh well.

Nah, but then again I was never part of the cape-wanting crowd anyways. Besides, I have a jetpack. That's, like, better than a cape.

That's not a dagger; that's a sword being held backwards (or upside down, I dunno how it works). It does look nice, though.

I think I saw the hype hanging out with the beef earlier today. Don't know where it might have gotten off to since then, though.

But how can you gave a proper Crab Battle if you can't be attacked or killed?
-
Oh lord, they changed the store artwork and called it a bugfix. Good shenanigans, Anet. Good shenanigans indeed...

After playing the GW franchise for nearly 20 years it's time for me to say goodbye as well....and after 35 years of playing the franchise (thanks in no small part to my flux capacitor) I'm hanging around. After playing it for 57 years I can only say beware the fnords!Having played for well over 300 years myself, all I can say is that the fnords are downright tame compared to everything that comes after. Buckle up, people, because things are going to get messy in the future.

Uh-oh, looks like the simulatuon is starting to fall apart...

So, stick with the default tiny wooden chair that we can get for free. Got it.
Unless they decide to let us paint the skyscale one.

Yeah this was some good fun. Given all the shenanigans that went down, I'm fairly convinced that this was just a Dethklok show transplanted into Tyria and with the fatality rate cranked all the way down. I give it my metal-loving stamp of approval, which may or may not actually translate to anything at any point in time (I don't know yet).
I still think they should have done a Deicide cover, though. 'Godkill' for an encore, maybe? Anyone?

I'm calling it now: Jormag's probably going to play out similar to Lust from Darksiders 3. Both have a fairly adrogynous voice (appearance probably not so much what with Jormag being a dragon and all that, but Anet could still surprise usbwith a humanoid form somewhere down the line), both make promises of things trying to appeal to one's desires, and it would not surprise me if Jormag ends up beinf referred to as 'they' in the story once things get going here.
I'm definitrly getting DS3 Lust vibes from our latest spotlight dragon.

Are you bored of doing the same things iver and over again for 7 years? Then come do a different set of things over and over again!
No thanks, I think I'll stick to my current strategy of playing other games when I'm bored of this one. WvW is still part of GW2 after all, and when I'm bored with GW2 that kind of includes all of it.

Oh but the first paragraph is just as good for a laugh, what with such nonsensical things such as claiming that nobody age 12-16 plays this game.

Popcorn, anyone?

@Ben K.6238 said:I'd give extra kudos if what they hand out is something more charr-like than a t-shirt.
Ooh, I know: a t-shirt with spikes. And fire. Seems like that would be appropriately charr. And metal.
-
I like the setting, and enjoy coming back to play every now and then.
-
Oh boy, I'm probably going to be absurdely far more critical of this band than is probably sane. I mean, if they're not playing 'Godkill' by Deicide are they even doing the whole 'charr metal band' thing right in the first place? :P

@Tanith.5264 said:We have bigger things to concern ourselves about. Such as...why are the choya so angry? :)
Probably because skritt are so quick to try to kill them. I know I'd be angry.

Why Lovecraft? Why not Zoidberg?
-
Nah, he's got to look his absolute best. Seems like he's in contest with Rytlock to see whose fur is the softest, so he needs to look as pretty as possible to help sell that.

@anninke.7469 said:I wonder if Bangar's fur is softer than Rytlock's.
Truly, this must be the real reason they're fighting.

Interesting. When I watched the trailer yesterday I pegged the voice as male, but going back after this thread I can definitely hear it sounding more female. Plus the confirmation of it being an actress pretty much settles it.
Hm... I wonder if they're going to try doing Jormag in a similar fashion to how Lust was done in Darksiders 3...?

Then you could change your name to 'Just a flesh wurm'.

Got myself a G502 a few years back, and have been quite enjoying it so far.
