Having the game be unable to launch without crashing for the past week has done a good job of keeping me away. I could technically play on my secondary desktop, but that one's not really set up to be a gaming machine and swapping around my nice keyboard and mouse and stuff between two machines all the tine would be a pain. Normally I'd try to fix the issue, but a reinstall didn't help and I can't be bothered to try anything more in-depth since I'm going to be doing some hardware upgrades in the near future anyways.
On the bright side, this has given me more time to play other things, so I'm not too terribly upset.

None. In fact, I haven't even used the free ones I got. I should probably do that some day and free up that shared slot...

STEP 10. Call up your ISP, and request for IP Adress block on all Anet's IP Address for your internet account.
STEP 11. There is no STEP 11, because you have now successfully blocked yourself from voting WoW on GW2 forum and every logging in the game ;)
When do we get to the 'profit' part? Isn't one of the steps always supposed to be 'profit'?

Nothing yet. Don't have enough to have been able to get things that have caught my attention so far and I don't buy keys, so my accumulation of them is very slow.

Ain't that the truth. I'm still waiting for one of those things to wander into LA because I happened to look in its general direction while in Elona a week ago, or some other dumb reason like that.

I think I've only ever blocked gold-selling spammers. Which, come to think of it, I don't think I've seen around in a good long while.
Of course I probably just jinxed myself...

Joko. He's pretty much this series' version of Dr. Nefarious, and seeing as Dr. Nefarious is one of my favorite villains in general I can only see this as a good thing.
Shame he didn't last a bit longer...

Don't worry OP, I went and made sure Caudecus has been thoroughly and properly sacked. Repeatedly. With a war hammer. I may have also set him on fire during the altercation.

We do have access to the Olmakhan (sp?) charr horns (I don't think they brought any other new cosmetic styling with them when they were added to the game). I don't remember if they're available at character creation or if they're makeover kit-exclusive, but we do have access to them.
Unless I'm horrendously mis-remembering things, of course.

If you're looking to get from LA to Crystal Oasis there's an airship you can take for free at the southern end of the city. I can't remember if there's free travel back to LA from there, though, although there is a boat you can take out to Istan for free if you want to go there.
As for getting back to LA you can hop through WvW or the PvP lobby as mentiined, or if you're in a guild that has a portal in it's guild hall you can just go there and take that back to LA for free as well.

Saving up for an exchange voucher or two, because I suddenly decided to craft my way through 3/4 of Incinerator one night this past weekend and now I need some CoF tokens to finish that up.

It should be salvageable. I remember salvaging mine down without any issue.

Something that's stuck with me all these years was during the invasion of Southsun back during Lost Shores watching all the corpses pile up when that first karka went rolling through the crowd trying to kill it. Good times.
Move the servers closer to south america? This is awful.
