    Ranger and PU mesmer do not have a Stealth Attack mechanic like thief. So the main "victim" would still be the thief class with such a relic.

    Backstab hits for 7k, Impairing Daggers hits for 7k, Cluster Bomb hits for 4.5k, Larcenous Strike hits for 4.5k, Pistol Whip hits for 7k, Shadow Shot hits for 4.5k, Skirmisher's Shot hits for 3k (but it's 1200 range and has 0.5s cast time, no aftercast), dagger has the best AA in the game excluding transformations (stuff like holo forge and shrouds). You don't lack damage, every time a thief lands anything on you, you're SAD.
    2) Thief already has some of the best defensive skills in the game.
    Uninterruptable healing skill, Shadowstep, Dagger Storm, Roll for Initiative, a metric kittenton of blinds and ports, weakness on every attack following a dodge (and they dodge a lot), on top of the insane disengaging potential from Unhindered Combatant (or stealth on dodge as a deadeye), most of your attacks have evades (Pistol Whip, Death Blossom, Flanking Strike, Disabling Shot), and a lot of cleanse sprinkled around.

    I'm all for lowering ini costs on some skills and we've talked about that (vault, sb5, sb4), I'm all for improving usability on some skills (Scorpion Wire, most of staff skills) but damage and defensives are already frankly bloated. I tried it myself, thief is not brittle and I repeatedly got away with stuff that would have killed me instantly on any other class. Some classes can spam obscene amounts of stealth (rangers, PU mesmers, thieves) and part of the roster has exactly 0 ways to interact with that. I'm sorry buddy, I love you and I respect you but being given a free win against 30% of the roster just because you can press 5-2 for 30 minutes doesn't feel fair.

    You write this like you can get all of this in 1 build. I mean who plays with death blossom nowdays? xD

    When there should be such a relic...... dmg has to be increased alot on non stealth attacks because when u get revealed u can't use as example backstab and so u loose alot of dmg output. Further more im no fan of passiv stinky things like in ESO where u have Proc Sets  ("WvW" in ESO is pretty dead because of big balance issues and Gear Wars + bad performance). They should give all classes some reveal options where the player has to press a button and play the game actively instead introduce more passiv kitten because peoples are to lazy to learn and play the game. Don't forget that there are still also Sentries and Watchtowers (WvW Mode) in the game which give a perm reveal. Would be overkill when the thief get revealed every 3 secs because of traps, target painters, sentries, watchtowers, reveal skills and of top of that then also a relic which auto reveal them. lol

    For sPvP the reveal uptime is also longer than in WvW and i do not know why thief is there still a problem.  For me thief is pretty fine in sPvP atm.

    Old and New? Yet what changed? Stealth uptime?? Where? When?  Yet Thief Profession can still perma-stealth??

    by the way, thanks to Anet promoting exploits and stealth abuse, they gave Thief Profession; Mesmer Profession portal which is given permission to exploit the game.

    Am I writing with a bot here or are you just acting stupid? Go read the wiki if you want it in black & white that the thief has received reworks and also nerfs.  

    For that I don't know what the above has to do with the below. Exploiting do different people on different classes and the bugging on the Red Borderlands in the fortress as well as in the academy etc.  is known for years. It's not the class's fault and it's in ArenaNet's hands to fix these things.

    You like to mix up arguments to gaslight the class here on Tryhard. For this you use over 5 years old videos to continue your crude confirmation bias. Give it a rest, really.

    More is lost when there are peoples which doesn't even know the difference between Traits/Skills & Boons. I think there's a bit too much playing around with untruths and mixing things up here. Thus, a picture is drawn, which does not exist.  This is lacking in basic knowledge if you do not even distinguish traits from boons.

    Next person which don't understand that Ini is a global Cooldown system. When u can replenish that only infight...oh god....thief is not warrior and isn't designed for eating the dmg like warrior. What is this for a suggestion.....

    Look the video again and tell me that u see what my opponents failed at. Expecially the two at the sentry. xD This vid is about how bad the lvl is today. And im no way one of the top thiefs.

    Even if the thief is deleted, it still would not make you better.

    It is no surprise after all the years including present day.....Anet Loyalty is in keeping Bad Design in the game

    It will never end, Anet will keep adding more and more Bad Design into the game. It will never be enough, never will.

    So much for putting the player, the Community experience first..

    The range of this Profession having long leaps...completely decimates Guardian Profession role as a support and a healer.

    It is as if, Guardian Profession suddenly transform into a  loose wild animal,  'high on medications'

    It is not even funny really, it is sad that Professions are behaving like wild animals.

    Seriously, there should be a Warning Sign on top of those Professions with the words, 'Beware I Have A Animal Inside Of Me'

    -refocusing back to pulls--Just Remove It Completely from all of the Professions

    Really....you are whining about everything. Now it is even scorpion wire which is considered of beeing one of the worst/buggiest Pulls in the game. xDDD Mate maybe this game isn't for you when you whine 24h per day about everything.

    Black powder cannot have its smoke field removed without then rebalancing pistol offhand as a whole for thief. And even then, stealth based gameplay is the most core design FOR thief, there's an entire trait line built around it.

    He doesn't understand what you want to tell him, because he only sees the game through his rose-colored glasses. He just has not understood in 11 years that the game was not developed just for him alone and PvP / WvW is not a Safespace. Thief is overall in a good spot Balance wise now, the only thing where anet should look is on bounding dodger (this one is indeed annoying ) + some DE Builds.... and to give the thief class more roles.

    That has always been the case. xD I've been roaming for almost 11 years and it's the risk you take when you're solo. The fact is that WvW is a group mode and not really one for solo play. Especially since the balance is not designed for 1vs1 in WvW anyway. It is a multiplayer game at the end. 🤷‍♂️

    And yet, that's still not a very good argument for having a set in WvW that simply has hardly any tradeoffs. Have you calculated how much more stat Cele has than the others? That's not just 20 more.....

    A problem I also see -> newbies also never learn to dodge properly  & move because they simply eat the damage. Unfortunately, I see this very often in my roaming training courses.

    So rather plant a bloated Set Gear into the game instead of the players playing a MUTLIPLAYER game together. Makes sense.

    Skill Clicker Chief vs Vallun. Yeah he will not hit.  Vallun even loose that duell. No blame here  both are great players but that insulting against chief is not really nice.

    Vallun addresses this in his video--you can't really judge these builds by some heavily-edited montage video. Just watch the WvW level jump all around in the corner. Anyone can cherry-pick fights from hours and hours of footage to present themselves as some WvW god, but I'll bet they cut out all the times they got smoked by someone better than them. That's not really a compelling argument compared to what Vallun's pointing out.

     

    WvW Lvls tells nothing about how good someone is in roaming. To open doors and kill NPC's doesn't show the personal skill of someone.  There are roamers which never take any Tower, Camps etc. and they can be on Bronce lvl. Then there are many which use Alt accounts (Smurfs).

    Also, don't forget the main PvP players, who quite often have pretty low WvW lvls. Don't get fooled by shiny lvls with no meanings.
