The berserker nerfs are REALLY not well implemented. This'll make power berserker suffer as well while not nerfing power quickness berserker enough. Both builds will lose about 2k dps. A sensible solution would've been making burst skills do less damage by let's say 20% with "Heat the Soul". This would've resulted in an approximately 7% dps loss for power quickness berserker based on a quick calculation and the current benchmark on Snowcrows' website. Prediction is that power berserker will go from 42.9->41k and power quickness will go from 38.9->37k. I'm probably not smart enough to put this theory into practice so I might be wrong. Also, why has condi berserker been left alone for so long now? King of Fires is just a nightmare to balance, and the build got a nerf because 3 people could do 49k with a massively altered rotation that wouldn't be as potent on an actual encounter. And 2 of the 3 people were tempests giving fire auras... That trait really has to be reworked to not depend on OTHERS' fire auras. Maybe it grants a charge when you give yourself fire aura and you can expend it with a rage skill? Edit: I recalculated and realised I'm dumb. The 7% dps loss is actually 9% and it would put power quickness berserker at ~35400 dps, which in my opinion is still too high for any boon support.

If... If the next batch of SotO content hits on the 7th of November, as most clues show, we only have 2 potential patch days left. (since Anette anounced that they'd give us a balance patch BEFORE the next quarterly update) These days are the 24th and the 31st of October. All patches, or well, all of the patches I know of, came on Tuesdays, and balance previews came 1-2 weeks before the patch on a Friday. Unless they're planning to give the previews on the Friday right before the patch, which would only give us 4 days to theorycraft, whine or God forbid praise their work, we're not getting a patch in the forseable future. Mind you this "calculation" only works if the rumours about a potential nov7 patch are true. I doubt they'd release a full-fledged balance patch along with a quarterly SotO update, and I don't want them to go back on their promises, defecate on communication and not release a preview an appropriate time before the actual patch. They promised a balance patch for the August-October period, and the clock's ticking. If the hotfix for the outlying builds was indeed the promised patch, you'd have to bring a shovel to find the "bar". I'd very much like to respect the devs' time and not tag them, but if we could get a word from Cal "CNC" Machinery or Roy "Rob Roy" Roy, that would be amazing. TLDR Best case scenario 31st. Worst case, no effing clue. News from devs would be kool.
