So as I understand it, the accounts that Ive worked on getting leg runes for will have some of that functionality taken away without ever being compensated for unless I buy the expansion for each of the accounts because relics will be locked behind that paywall and so "sig progress" towards them will mean nothing. Is that how I am reading it? I understand slot 6 will be getting a replacement bonus but from what Ive seen, it will be less than currently offered otherwise a relic on top is just more power creep? If I am wrong here please let me know.
  2. I have multiple older Tyria only accounts (paid for, not free to play) that I still play and have worked for legendary runes for. My impression on this "update" is that my runes that Ive worked for are going to be devalued and a relic introduced that my Tyria only accounts wont be able to get, therefore being perm. penalized.

  5. So as you should know as you are apparently able to read, that the skins were NOT available yesterday as the relevant achievements were not active in the beta to claim them which is exactly why they are "working on it" so your whole post is wrong. Thanks for playing, HAGD.
  6. I read the twitter, I was in WvW shortly after the beta started.. Exactly how could you get the skins yesterday? Please link the twitter post you are referring to as no one knew how to on any of the servers I am on.

"The biggest one is finding a means to make winning mean something in WvW without motivating players to burn themselves out trying to maintain 24/7 coverage" - You took away the WvW tournies and never replaced them, You took away the incentive of server bonuses with mega servers, you took away server pride by combining servers. You took away us being able to call on people from LA and similar towns to help defend with mega servers - these are just the ones that come immediately to mind. Motivating players?? all you have done is demotivate for the past 5 years. I now only try and come to play when I am outmanned so I can get my rewards done quicker and get out, there is no incentive anymore. None for scouting, none for protecting.... You think a "WvW we remember you" is going to placate the community?
  8. Note this isnt a boon or food buff. It is a point in time use item, there is no boon or buff that is being used up so it should not (and was not) be treated as such.
  9. Nodes don’t have cooldowns as such but rather a respawn time like enemies. Everything else that has a cooldown is by in-game character time, no? No, I disagree. you use an item and it says 1 hour cooldown, that means it will be ready in one hour, not that you have to be sat on that character, doing something or nothing waiting for the hour. There are plenty of examples of cooldowns that happen without you having to be there to do it and dont forget, it was working precisely this way until they changed it and it was reported as working this way, which is the only reason I purchased it in the first place. Waiting 69 hours to be able to put all my chars back at their original places is no QOL benefit.
  10. The fact is the item as advertised said it had a 1 hr cooldown, no mention that you had to play that char during that cooldown period. Just like you can farm nodes every hour, you dont have to be there waiting for the hour to tick down. Its like me selling you a Mustang and then swopping it out for a Skoda after youve paid for it.
  11. Before it was an hour of clock time ie I went on a char at 4am, used the item and anytime after 5am, I could use again. This is what happened with 6 of my characters (hence how I know it was working). A little later (say 7am) I went to use my 7th char (that I had previously used about 4.15am) and it was suddenly showing a cooldown of approx 58 minutes) I tried on the 8th to 10th chars and got the same result. Now 5 hours later, if I sign onto them, then it is still showing in the region of 57 minutes cooldown. On the item description before purchasing, it clearly said a 1hr c/d. no mention that it was related to char playing time and its pretty clear to say, when someone says you can use something in 1 hour, it means clock time, not 1 hour as long as you doing x.y.z.
  12. So this morning, some hours after I purchased the new recharge teleport item, there was a stealth change that altered the functionality of it completely. This was done without any annoucement that Ive seen and changes the item from being worthwhile to pointless for me. The question is, are you going to offer refunds or correct the item to be working as it was originally (ie 1 hour cd as opposed to the 1 hr of play on that character that it is after the stealth update). Note that this change has nothing to do with the exploits that were identified yesterday that Ive read about as it wouldnt effect new chars being created so that cannot be the reasoning.
  13. So I bought it earlier this morning after reading it could be used per char (even though I have 270+ of the "normal" ones). It worked fine at first and after going back to the first chars an hour or so later, managing to TP to another area with no problems. Then after I went to make something to eat, came back to port some more chars. They could not be ported and even though it had been almost 2 hours since they had last ported, the timer was still saying in the region of 57 minutes - this was not the case for the first few I did for the 2nd time. I believe there was a stealth update to make the 1 hr cooldown based on the character time, not the actual time. This is not cool and I will be requesting my gems back for the item as it says nowhere that you must play a char for 1 hour before using it again (and indeed was not like that 3 hours ago).
