hopefully it won't be some kind of afterthought. hopefully they also let us play with it before release, it might need a beta.
-
do you think spears(land spears) will work with this trait on release?
here's to hoping but i'm no optimist.
-
would be nice if lead attacks also added to healing.

i just hope spear comes out on release day for the expansion. it was terrible waiting six months for axe.

i'm pretty sure pistol is a condi weapon?
-
i do wish the staff marks did a bit more damage, not sure how much more they should do though.
-
i don't think i could live without the condi cleanse grandmaster trait now that i've been using it for so long. otherwise i'd be all for something like this.
-
it still hits really hard, but it's a shame i can't hit people on walls anymore.
-
how do you only have 19k health as a warrior?

I have a new idea. What if there where no servers but guilds could form an alliance with each others?

There is no "Great" hammer. There's just a regular hammer which is already a 2h weapon.
Great hammer would require likely more hands than a-net is willing to provide our characters with.
As others pointed out a lot of what you're asking for is already there in one form or another.
Though not all of it.
I definitely approve of the shield (or in GW2 terms - barrier) idea.
Necro can generate tons of Life Force if he builds for it and having a sustain tool that makes use of it outside shroud could be pretty handy.
As for other things I'd like to see on a hammer, stab and slow are on top of my list.
Hammer is the heavy, slow and immobile weapon. Makes sense it would focus on sharing this pain with your enemies.
Never understood why slow as molasses necro is being denied the ability to drag enemies down to his level with a good access to this condi.
And his access to stab is memes levels bad. I get it's a weakness but no other profession has such a glaring one.
If your profession's weakness is so pronounced competitive builds cannot exist without particular skills (Spectral Walk/Flesh Wurm) that counters it, then you know you done goofed from balance perspective. No profession is supposed to be a hostage to a single utility skill.
i think nearly every class has solid access to stability so yeah. even thief has solid access to stab now, and if anet won't give necro stability it definitely needs more mobility.

scepter isn't exactly a rogue type weapon either but it works. axe/pistol does solid damage without needing to go into stealth. and rotations aren't a thing in this game, every skill is situational. assuming you don't just mindlessly press keys on your keyboard.

Not just touched, axe pistol has been gutted. No longer a viable weapon...
have you used it in wvw? 2k crits per axe. which means nerf incoming.

i don't think the damage on the secondary skills (in wvw) warrants the trade off of an hp cost. that being said, i find swords to be really fun. just wish they'd get a bit of a damage buff(in wvw)

it does solid damage, effectively tracks targets and is pretty funny against wall campers in wvw.
don't touch it. it's great.
please don't touch it?

axe/pistol is great. which means it will get nerfed.

honestly i'm content as long as axe works. i think their reasoning is we technically get five skills with axe and it's combinations.
-
i was hoping axe would be a melee hybrid weapon, i did not get what i wanted.
axe/pistol was pretty solid to be fair. axe/dagger however, was outright bad.
axe/dagger poison spam will probably get nerfed due to how much it will pump out, and i'm gonna abuse the heck out of it before that happens.

The wow hunter can out play gw2 ranger anyway and when you have melee weapon that have more dps than the LB that is range main weapon.
yeah, you know with the long channeling times and combat slower than a shortbus.

boonball. that solves your problem.

how do you deal with boon spam while roaming? i've lost a few 1v1's where i wasn't sure it was because of a skill difference or if it was because of boon spam. Since there's no real way to strip boons en masse any more, it makes me feel like boons are a serious crutch in roaming. so far the biggest offenders are Elementalists, Engineers and Guardians (willbenders)
so as i asked, how the heck do you deal with boon spam as a condi necromancer?

harrowing storm is immensely hard to land in wvw. it feels like it was meant to hit stationary targets. i like the weapon as it gives me a way to use my frostfang, but harrowing storm really needs the axes to teleport to the target not to the player casting them, otherwise they simply will not hit the target.
the dual skills for both axe/dagger and axe/pistol need to do something other than bring the axes back to you or shoot them at your target. i'm not seeing much use of the off hand weapon in the dual skills so far. not to mention both animation s for a/d and a/p look very similar.

will it be better than p/d though? here's to hoping. it would give me a reason to use my frostfang.
-
maybe speed up the channel of endless night? or would that be too OP?
also would be nice if the shadow arts grandmaster traits had a better synergy with support options. As they are now you -need- to enter or exit stealth, which heal specter has very little of.
Staff QoL changes to increase viability and effectiveness of daredevil for WvW squad play.

thief's biggest problem with doing frontline damage is that it's too squishy to take any hits, unlike a warrior or something. maybe if there's some sort of intense barrier generation? in my experience jumping into the middle of an enemy group is insta-death, evade frames notwithstanding.
