  1. Soul-Beast is destroyed. I don't think any of the truly serious Soul-Beast players really is invested any longer in this broken spec. I agree with the earlier comment that ANets constant Nerfs are just PVP game breaking (in the end). And to your point, no one really gets upset at Soul Beast anymore. Well done Anet, just keep caving. Let's see if you can keep all the cry babies happy all the time.
  2. There is a lot of haters of Soul Beast. Anet just 'caved' to them. I'm not sure why they just don't get rid of Soul Beast completely.
  3. Dwarves (not the stone variety). Is it not lore that the Dwarves turned themselves to stone to defend against an elder dragon? Perhaps with the defeat (or pacification) of either elder dragons, the commander can uncover a way (magic or otherwise) to restore the dwarves as their original selves. Bam...new playable race!
  4. What new trade skill would you like to see in the upcoming expansion. I vote for FISHING!

  6. Arena Net, please look at the above comments and respond. I implore you! People are logging out for a final time. I don't want my favourite game to start the slow slide to failing. Yes, of course, all things come to an end but this seems a most unusual and unnatural way to accelerate towards that result. Here is a summary of what the community is saying, (1) this balance patch was bad (emotive word, yes, but no other way to say it accurately), and (2) have the courage to reverse it before it's to late. This can be framed as you 'actually do listen' to your community, and you are 'secure enough' within yourself enough to admit a mistake.
  7. Informal polling in game chat draws mostly vitriolic responses about this balance patch. The thread has had over 60,000 views (i.e. much more interest than usual for a balance patch). From a person that greatly enjoys this game, I hope that a developer responds to this soon with something that allows the community to swallow this (perhaps bitter) pill.
  8. I think dialogue would be good idea for Arena Net. They rightly can say they have one of the best MMO's out there, but answering basic questions, or accepting some polite criticism would normally be considered important.
  9. Sadly, as I predicted they went ahead with this. Are you really refusing to listen to your players Arena Net? I'm sure you're smart enough to look over at the 'dead games graveyard' and see the game titles that went down the path of not listening to their player base. Decisions like this are either good business strategies or not. I wonder what your customers think?
  10. I don't really expect Arena Net to listen. Most big companies think they know better, and it is what it is. However as a veteran player and a Psychologist in real life I probably somewhat have a handle on the GW2 player base and human psychology. Here it is simply. Arena Net, listen to your player base here! Whatever you intended with these changes the unintended 'result' is a player base that is feeling punished and upset (for the most part). Human beings go through stages when these things happen. Frustration, anger, approach behaviours (like complaining on forums) and avoidance behaviours like abandoning classes and perhaps the game altogether. For all I know punishing your player base is a part of a master plan to shut the game down eventually. Who knows? However, if you intend to keep players and people purchasing Gems Id suggest you halt these changes immediately and listen to YOUR community.
