Seriously, This is something that for us is not a client side issue. This is strictly an issue caused by the latest "update". There is no quick fix workaround that will work consistently for all of us. We're just going to have to wait until Arena gets this fixed and patched out to us.

Ran okay for a while today. But since then it's been the same situation. So, I started it up while running as Admin, got as far as selecting my character to play and it instantly CTD. I did manage to get an error report this time. I confirm this. Since patch, game will not launch after logging in. Ran the Repair.exe and could get into game a few minutes, then game caused whole system lockup with only recourse to power down and reboot.

Having done all of the Guild Wars Saga (solo) and 99 % of this story solo, I can't say I'm disappointed. But what I wonder is what's coming next.

As I was involved in a minor event in Queensdale, a high level onlooker riding they're customized Skyscale perched on top of the rancher's "homestead" commented, "poor bandits".(I guess they were being sympathetic to the bandits raiding the ranch). I suggested in open chat, "Why don't you go see if you can help them. I'm sure they'll welcome you".(Of course being PVE, you know how that encounter would end up). It got me thinking of all the PVP and WvW things going on and it occured to me that something like this doesn't seem to exist here. So, why don't we have something like this for those who love PVP?

I don’t blame arenanet for this since bugs happen, it’s a thing. But I just want to work on my Skyscale man. Yeah I did that too the first time lol, it’s kind of a weird bug since some were able to get past it.On the other hand you can still be stuck here, I guess we’re just unlucky! Some got through???That's odd.Maybe I should try again and keep at it until she spawns in. Feel free to keep trying, what i’m going to do later is see if I can hunt down other players on Descent, see if they can instance me through. I tried before but they were saved to the final fight so I didn’t count. I only had to try a second time. Aurene showed up this time. I guess I was lucky. So, I finished the story. Nice! I actually just grabbed someone from map chat and got them to start for me and it worked. I actually went in first and it was still bugged but when they did it that worked. Ditto. Same issue here.I didn't even know Aurene was supposed to spawn in and I spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get to the marker behind the wall of rocks.
