  1. Female Sylvarie, Female Human, Male Sylvarie. I really enjoy the first two as they bring tension greatly across (i.e. the finale when Aurene hatched and the Commander shouted the name of the "guest" NPC that showed up to help), whereas the Male Sylvarie has quite a sophisticated voice which quite pleasant to listen to. But in the afore-mentioned tension situations it seems a bit less emotional? Something like that. Female Sylvarie had a time in HoT and LS where she sounded always stressed out (understandably!), but that has mellowed out :+1: I don't enjoy Male Asura that much as he always seems to sound somewhat asthmatic/short-breathed.
  2. I'm a solo player, but also appreciated the help at Hero points, espcially kitten Mushrooms or Chak HPs or that dreaded HP in VB at the waypoint befre you move to Auric Basin. If I feel like testing the waters with one of many professions/specs I'm terrible with, I usually go for the stalking Vine Tooths, I think, in Auric Basin, or the mini event in PoF where you protect the farmers outside of Amnoon.
  3. the lastest reports i've seen GW2 is out performing alot of the newer games in terms of active population. a few games beat it, ff14, and wow of course. but as far as blade and soul, revelation online and black desert, gw2 has more active population. the report was based on dec 2017 stats. Every game you listed is beating GW2 revenue-wise by a lot, so I wouldn't conclude that GW2 has a much bigger playerbase. And no, it's not the new WoW, not even close. GW2 expansions devolved TREMENDOUSLY, to the point where I would call them DLCs and not real expansions. WoW pumps out more endgame content in a random patch than GW2 does in an expansion. GW2 is also dropping the ball when it comes to anything other than open world PvE. The game is regressing a lot these days.Yeah because "Raid or Die" is totally interesting and non-restrictive...
  4. Neither you nor I know ANYTHING about the generation the "complainers" belong to. But it's the cheap way out of generalizing an issue and make indirect fun of it. But it's always easier to be a jerk than a useful member of society. See? I can do that as well. O M G!
  5. There has to be a balance between easy, challenging and plastering the ground with AOE effect clutter. This has nothing to do with "NERF PLX", dear "GIT GUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" faction. I did defeat the LS4 finale boss without it being an embarrasing sight as my p*ss poor battle against Balthy, but I cannot say that I have actually improved between LS3's later-on gimmicky fights to PoF's AoE effect clutter madness. I honestly don't care about a theoretical non-existance of the difficulty as I usually differentiate between story and boss battles (i.e. even if the battle's a joke I can still completely enjoy the story. For me difficulty has hardly anything to do with it).
  6. Loved the storyThe voice acting was great. As someone who's a huge Taimi fan, Mix of aphaty and "hate" for Blablawa Lameko.Boss fights were mostly alright-ish. I usually die a couple of times, and this time was probably too hasty against the final fight in LS4.But, I'm not too much a fan of cluttering the ground with AoE attacks in whatever form.I don't raid, do fractals so no comment here.
