The disconnects had been happening to me recently and I did get suggestions from Support to make sure my firewall and antivirus was set to exclude GW2 and two other files. Everything was going great, I did a few more PoF story instances with no problem, then I was kicked at the very end of To Kill a God. It stinks to have completed the instance, feeling pretty good at the accomplishment and then losing it all because of some silly glitch. I'm not really up for running it again if the same thing happens. RNGesus is now affecting instances as well, I guess. I did update my support ticket and hopefully there's some "magic fix".

I'm getting disconnected at the end of every story instance now. Very frustrating. I've filled a bug report and support ticket and am hoping they can tell me what to do to fix this. I'm going to be locked out of the hound and griffon mount if I can't complete the story instances. Plus very frustrating to have to do the whole instance over and over again. Please Anet - give us a little help?

My disconnect problem only started with PoF and only happens during the cinematic of the LW story instances. It's frustrating because I've had to repeat the entire instance again. Very frustrating when it happens on the last one in the instance. I play a number of other games and do not disconnect so I don't think it's on my side, especially since the DC's are happening at during the cinematics and not in open world.

I've been playing off and on since launch weekend in 2012 and just came back after the better part of a year off and now almost every story instance I play I'm getting DC'd after the cinematic. It just happened to me in Living World Season 3 playing Caudacus manor and getting DC'd at the end. It happened every time in some of the PoF instances too. No warning, just cinematic ends, everything freezes and I'm looking at the Lost Connection to Server message. I play other online games and don't have this problem and I don't have this problem in GW2 open world. Only the instances and only since PoF.
