Well we are getting a new expansion :lol: i know and i saw a leak, ofc nothing confirmed, probs fake but sounds realistic. it didnt say much, only this: a new class will be released "The Clunkylist" coming directly with his first elite traitline mirage. the new class replaces any further mesmer elites bc we have decided that mesmers should not have any elites. gs as a weapon further gets deleted from the class to define mesmer as a condi spec.the Clunkylist is a magical perma off meta class who wield deception of viability as a weapon. using unpowerful illusions to ensure that their enemies do not get confused and can believe their own eyes again. clunkylists tip the balance of every fight in enemies favor. mirage elite weapon will be the gs. muha (crying in the corner)

Yeah core is pretty much hit and run, mostly on the run if people decide "that mesmer has to die". Wouldn't be too bad if we had a power spec for chrono but that already lends itself to a condi build through rewinder and chrono phantasma letting you get double pistol traited for bleeds and double torch phantasm for AoE burn. Still a pretty bad spec in general that struggles with clone generation yet needs it because no IP. i want to play something that feels like a (shatter) mes, so chrono is not an option. So many of the traits are condition focused I'd rather they just keep it as a condi duelist and focus on making chrono into a power bruiser. Personally I'm finding the heal nerfs and CD increases on core have hit a bit hard, you can still +1 as power shatter but you have to be very careful if they focus you.naaah there are 3 trait choices, it is possible to create viable power, condi and sustain/support/utility alternatives, no need to pressure any class or elite into only one direction. Well, i will not be surprised if after few balance patches and some rework we end with... Mirage: "The Clunkylist 2.0" And send him to the forgotten well where Chronomancer already is. Will we watch a Mirage 2.0 rework in the future too? Who knows. If it comes, we will see it in the best horror cinemas. Imagine the emotions reading those patch notes... :p :# They will need to make "The Clunkylis 3.0" of the new expansion shine, so they have a lot of work to do. dont give me nightmares :scream:

Still got a couple of albums, love the pan pipes. Last thing I would have expected to hear on any gw2 video, haha! good summary, a lot of these points were made long before that patch already, that this would be the way to go is also so obvious that i dunno what to say anymore. the mesmer balance (looking at chrono too) is just absurd since a while back now... ¯(ツ)/¯ the current condi mirage build doesnt even use ih anymore and use weapons with barely any condi dmg on the mirages ambushes, so there would not even be a big problem to just delete condidmg from condi ambushes and give something else instead, that can be used active and gives options for skilled outplays and combos with ambushes and ih, combos including shatters again, instead only dodgesspam for passive clone dmg. the condi dmg you get out of mirage traitline would still be just as low as it is now, low enough to pressure cmirages out of chaos into dmg traitlines and for that reduce their sustain remarkable they had aside from (endurance-) dodges. but better make a change affects all mirage playstyles and kills few of them never were op even before patch already and obviously decrease skillneed of the mirage traitline as a whole.

everytime you get distortion you also get mirage cloak, just that the ambush window is already closed when you are able to use your skills again, enjoy mirage! that sounds pretty near to: lets make a spec based around dodges and then make it unable to dodge. sooooooooooooo i would say it is around the same? :joy:after they deleted ip and f4 on chrono and one dodge from mirage i lost a lot of trust in the balance tbh, so i would not even be surprised this becomes true but that probs will be the time i quit. it will not feel like playing a mesmer anymore (just as chrono is not a mesmer for me anymore), when all fun and gameplay flow and class identity is destroyed, there is no reason to stay for me. as said, i dont care about playing something that is weaker than everything else, where i have to play waay better and outplay way harder than usually to win anything, so i never complained about any nerfs before. but the moment i cant even play skilled anymore because all my options for strategic/ tactical outplays are deleted or too hard limited that i am forced into using lame stuff, then i have nothing to enjoy anymore as a challenge player. deleting immunity to cc is better than the absurd idea of not being able to use skills when in f4 but still... facepalm Yes!Mirage can still attack?!
