    I dont get it.

I didnt get it, either. But upon reading what OP recommends, it is ANOTHER exclusive, brand new skin set available to those who made the pve leggy set. They should be able to do the exchange for free, too! And (WHY NOT? LETS GET CRAZEY!) it should be somehow... Cultural. So you made leggy Light armor, the skins are available to all Light armored characters (race is completely irrelevant, but hey, a man can dream of having free shinies, cant they?). So, which Cultural armor will you unlock? HUMAN/ASURA/NORN/SYLVARI/CHARR? Or all of them? Complete with transformations etc?

If i misunderstood something, please forgive me. Not everyone is as smart as OP.

i get you're being sarcastic, but yes.

  2. It's maybe a little late, but I'm still unhappy with my legendary light armor set I made on day one of its release. Can you release an alternative set of legendary light armor skins so I can have the option of something else. My biggest critique is that it really looks a lot more like heavy armor. The pants is a stiff skirt, metal plate on the chest that makes me character's chest protrude outward, and the boots are definitely big bulky heavy armor boots. The gloves also look like plate armor and is bulky and stiff. And to be honest, the shoulders and the helm seem like a lazy effort. I appreciate the work that went into it, but it seems clear to me that most of the talent went into designing the actual Legendary Heavy armor set, and less talent was put into making the light armor set. I don't know how others feel about the medium set, but I'm also not a fan of the aesthetics of that set.

Rational Idea: I'm not asking for the current designs to be scrapped. I'm sure there are few people that like it. I am asking for the option of another set of skins. Say a vendor that sells the new set pieces at the cost of each current piece. A 1:1 exchange.

Radical Idea: Create Tier 4 cultural armor that is the alternative legendary armor set. Complete with moving parts and transformations, etc. And you can only get tier 4 cultural armor by having legendary armor and by trading in each piece for it. I got some ideas on how the sylvari version should look if you're curious.

When you play a core condition Engineer you're neutered by many builds. The damage you do is harder to land (Bomb Kit is PBAoE, Flame Thrower is still clunky and focuses on one condition) or doesn't stick at all (too many cleanses still).

If your problem lies with a couple of specialisations, as it seems it is, then please point those out specifically in your title.

general statement is generally true. There is no need for specifics

  4. High damage condi builds are also the tanks in pvp. Condi-bunker weaver and revs for example. This really needs a rebalancing because it is a high reward-low risk situation to play these type of builds. In addition, a lot of condi skills do not even need to hit the target directly to inflict high damage. It is just aoe 360 waves of damage whether on the ground or just emanating from the player. It's not fair to fight against. And it simply just isn't fun.

  5. The problem is the both the frequency in which retaliation is applied and the damage it is able to do for how high the uptime is for numerous builds. Boon strip is awesome for uncommon boons like aegis. But trying to boon strip retaliation from a guard, engineer, etc is like trying to strip might from a warrior.

  6. Retaliation, in its current form, is far too strong for the current state of the game. The frequency of it's application should be drastically reduced and/or it should have it's scaling drastically reduced. It's the epitome of passive gameplay. And the fact that it can easily be shared. One flurry of attacks on a single, or double target, and half my health is missing. That is the epitome of passive gameplay. I run a boon strip build but it cannot keep up with how quick the application of retaliation is. It needs to be reconsidered.

  8. this nerf is brutal. I played a lot yesterday. But i'm gonna do what I always do. I stick with my main thru the good and thru the bad. but this is def the biggest nerf in the entire patch notes.

OP isn't crying. If your only purpose is to incite an argument, then just don't. In any case, I understand why OP, and others want the rating system changed. I like the rating system as it is. It actually is a really good system and accounts for facing people of higher and lesser rating than yourself, as it should be. Even matchmaking algorithm is really good in this game. The problem is the community is just very small. When the population isn't large enough, it can make mmr seem unfair.

  10. I'm okay with all the mesmer nerfs, however the change to mirage cloak is gonna take all the fun out of the class for me. I don't enjoy base mes or chronomancer anymore. Cloak was really cool and so much fun. Too strong I guess. But I wish they thought of another solution to keep it interesting and just as fun/cool.
