Indeed. YB's siege game is mediocre at best - that reputation is no longer NEARLY as deserved as it used to be. Regardless, should be an... interesting... 2 months for us Yakkers.

Ummmm... how is Yak's Bend linked to Tarnished Coast again? Shouldn't they be linked to other servers instead of another (consecutive) eight weeks? Something ain't right.

Will End of Dragons be available for pre-order purchase at GameStop and/or Amazon, like PoF and HoT before it? If so, when?

Wow. Gonna be a long, dark 8 weeks on ye olde Yak's Bend... and then we end up getting hosting (and having fun) again. The cycle continues. Huzzah!

Yeah, it's bad this week. I'm not seeing much of a shot to do much of anything this cycle (until Dragonbrand falls back down to the basement, as is tradition).

Yeah, YB does MUCH better as a link than a host. We seem to be too fair-weather - we start in the basement, and our pop is relatively-low, to the point that we end up as a link, we rise in the ranks, and all the fair-weather types show up to push our metrics back up to Host-level. Re-link, we crash to the bottom as a host, people vanish, and we suffer again. The same cycle has repeated itself all year. Many of us are glad that we're not hosting ET again (and vice versa). Aside from a handful of guilds, we seem to have a LOT of problems working towards a common goal. Now, if Kaineng decides to bolt, well... shrugs.

This is great. The first time I did it (on launch day), I didn't even REALIZE there was a loot phase. Imagine my shock and irkedness when I did it the other day and saw chests all over the landscape.

As a Yak's Bend regular, this pleases me to no end. We're simply not populous enough (in WvW) to be a legitimate host, and we had a LOT of fun with HoD when they hosted us previously.

I'm rather disappointed that Yak's Bend is hosting again. We've been struggling for the better part of the past year, then we FINALLY got (rewarded) demoted to a Link Server (linked with the astoundingly-pleasant Henge of Denravi), going from T4 to T1... and now we're dead in the water again. We just don't have the coverage anymore to advance. Damn shame, but it be what it be.
