  1. I'm gonna necro this thread a bit...sorry. This can't be normal map behavior... Every instance of Crystal Oasis is offering me to volunteer to map change within 15-20 minutes of being on the new map, and continues to do so over and over. I have been in Crystal Oasis for about 6 hours and it has prompted me to change maps at least 10 times. When the population of a map get's so low, isn't it supposed to just have one instance of the map? I don't have this issue in any of the other underpopulated maps in core Tyria or older living world maps that aren't very populated like Bloodstone Fen. Edit: Literally just map changed, zoned into new area and within 30 seconds it prompted the "volunteer to join new map" UI....
  2. Necro'ing this thread out of frustration. I just came back from a three year break and got about 8 of my friends to pick up the game and expansions. They started new characters and I came down to help them out on my main. I was not aware of this new achievement while we were doing the starter areas, and destroyed all these Lv5 blue items. Later, after looking through the achievement panel, noticed this collection and realized how big of a mistake that was. I am OCD about achievement completion, and after putting in a GM ticket, as several mentioned, I was denied. So I have been farming and moving from zone to zone for the last 16 hours. I've gotten 3/4 of the chests I needed to drop again. But this is crazy for a "beginner" achievement, that is so easy to make a mistake on.....

  4. I'd like an option to see both my weapon sets when I have them sheathed instead of having them disappear into the mist. ie Bow on the back, daggers in hand. I realize the issues with having multiple 2h or 1h sets, but you could just have this be a small check box like the hide helmet/shoulders in the character window. This could be a feature to implement with some things mentioned here. Hiding weapons, etc. I'd love some system that allows you to adjust sheath positions, like shields on arms, daggers on back, swords on back, etc. But that's never gonna happen I'm sure, but a simple show/hide option could be feasible.
  5. Animation packs. Tired of seeing the same run animations and combat idles. Allow us during a total makeover kit to switch animation types, for varied run animations, combat idle, non-combat idle, and perhaps even dodge and jumps. I think doing this will switch up some of the staleness some of us feel playing the same character a lot. I have multiple maxed out theives of varied races, and I've gender swapped multiple times. The human male animations are truthfully abysmal compared to human female. Who runs like that? Also that combat stance is terrible. Asurans, especially noticeable under movement speed effects have completely varying strides when switching from say a shortbow to any dual wield configuration and it just does not feel right at all. Charr, (amoungst the many model issues) have this very odd backpack sliding thing when the switch from dual wield to 2 handed, sliding the backpack up into the air. It's completely rediculous. Possibly an option to not have them run on all fours when weapons sheathed (just a thought). Hoping that some of these animation packs could address some of these issues, while not wasting dev time on something that wouldn't generate any revenue to go back and fix. This would also add varying run animations when you have multiple characters of the same race running side by side, getting rid of the army of clones look. Shit I know I'd pay 2500 gems for each pack per race, per gender. But then again I like to spend a lot in the gems store.
