i finished all the puzzles and i was on the last stretch of defeating all the bots with shields when the floor moved again and basically locked me in the center of the room under the core. i cannot even die, I'm locked in a box made of floor. This is sadly a nightmare. i cannot even die to restart at my save point, completely blocking any progress. Who wants to do this over and over? and now I see this post that so many are getting the same thing. i sent a bug report with screen. so this story has been bugged at least since Monday its now Sunday and no fix. I am just gonna tell my friends don't bother finishing their story, play another game. Anet hasn't fixed it yet. agree with TROLL..DO NOT START THIS PART OF THE STORY. I do not wish this aggravation for anyone else. Story: Weight of the world-Destroy the final core p.s. only thing i can do is deploy my bot but their are no levers at this point. I'm trying to get killed and I cannot even do that. YES YES finally after 25 min I hugged a wall in the floor box and an enemy finally started attacking me!!! I have just died and now going to hopefully start from checkpoint. gl everyone, we all are gonna need it. lol what a mess. Update: after dying and going to check point I finished in 2 min maybe less. Hope this gets fixed so others do not go through this.

ah finally got it figured out. idky there is no purple star but if i talk to the pilot i can get to it that way (story) ...i guess anet forget the purple star this time.

so question pls, Ive done all the story's to date and am working on my redo. I did Wildfire and the others but I am looking for Dragonstorm and their is no purple star anywhere. People are asking in map chat but no one has an answer. Normally for redo's we can go to the purple star and finish it but this time did anet forget one? I am hoping they will fix it and I wont have to do the entire store again. I do not think anyone would appreciate that lol. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

ok finally back in 7th was the charm. really odd though.

was in grothmar just finished ooze event and got thrown out with this code. was at login screen so went back in and it put me in bjora! and threw me out before i could full get in bjora again the code. this happened 6 times and i completly logged out and still cannot get in for more then like 2 min...same bjora etc...uh....help?

I've started on the new "redo" and so far so good with the story. no "this isn't your active story. It is also letting me progress. so seems to be just that story. what next?

well devs, I restarted the chapter today. quit and then restarted from scratch. Did where's Balthazar all over again and the mausoleum and came out and in about 3 seconds the upper green story part reverted as if I had done nothing. Sure would be nice if you would fix this please.

so tried to continue sirens landing with a friend and cannot even get an invite to show up now, to join on their story. come on devs please, It has been 3 weeks yesterday, I've done 2 tickets I've submitted bug reports daily and still nothing. IDK it is almost like devs done visit these forum but wait for the community to fix their own problems? I am just guessing as 3 weeks is a lot of time to not have any fix at all. Now even more bugs are showing up for people with the newly dropped redo....I have no clue about your job but imo wont it just compound and compound the more these fixes are ignored? Please please fix these "bugs", we are your loyal fans and admirer's, please don't brush us off.

just did the race and no markers or flags show after getting to the ship in open waters. it just has nothing.....and your not finished of course. so hey can we get a fix anytime soon?????

also that is incorrect, a friend of mine started the story and got to the point where I was and could not go any further. He was on a toon that had never done the story either. So while it was bugged for me (and I have done it multiple times) he had not done it at all. Neither of us can progress.

Let me try and explain differently since the above post is not registering with you. I started the redo to siren's landing about 3 weeks ago when it was dropped. It was a green star (not purple, a green star) I and a friend partied up, we finished where's balthezar, both got credit all was good. We went to the next one in the hidden entrance, finished it, finished the achievement's in it, got credit via the redo and left the instance. However my friends story continues with the redo (he has a green star) , mine does not. It is, as if I did not do the enter the hidden entrance shining blade part at all. the story is not progressing. so all stars are purple, hence the bug reports hence the tickets. Every time I enter it and complete it does not save and progress. so the redo sirens landing, cannot be finished as I cannot get to the last chapter in the story. whether you are doing the story or the redo you cannot skip parts to get to another chapter. I cannot progress to last chance because the story is bugged and does not progress. I am not a new player. Please only respond and post if you are a dev to fix the story. Much appreciation in advance.

its called "redo" not pick a new character and try it. all the redo's so far have been fine. I am not skipping anything. I got credit for it so far. but it is still bugged and needs to be fixed. providing a work around is foolish as the bug will create more if not fixed. its not a solution but offering of duct tape...no thanks

Hello devs, well its almost 3 weeks since the last drop of "redo" and this issue I check daily isn't resolved. So finally posting here. For the latest redo story the first part "where's balth" works fine, going to the 2nd part works just doesn't save progress to keep going. I have done "enter the hidden entrance" 3x now (not counting original completion) and it saves nothing. Here is the kicker, it gave me credit for sirens landing redo but every time I go in (solo or in party) it states not your active story. saves nothing and I'm back to square 2 enter the entrance. so I cannot complete the redo story because I cannot get past the 2nd part. I did a ticket but they say they cannot help me its up to the devs. I submit a bug report everyday it is not fixed, nothing is done. I'm grateful you fixed the wvw bugs, the eod bugs, then you fixed the bugs for the beta's, but can we please get some help on the story please? A friend of mine tried his character and he has the same thing. So it is not just me. I cannot seem to get any help from anet and your going to drop another redo Tuesday. Kind a crazy but hey that's just my opinion. I've checked my build, haven't used taco in over 4 months (redo stories have been fine up until this one). I have gone in solo, doesn't work or save. I have gone in with a party with someone who doesn't have it broken, doesn't save or progress. So now dev's it is in your hands. Hope you read this and fix it for everyone else, especially before Tuesday. I know its a long shot giving since the redo story isn't a money maker but this seems to be the only bug for 3 weeks that isn't being worked on or resolved in any way. :( Hoping, Willow

Ok I agree the scarf change would be nice, the unicorn mount would be epic. I would like to also suggest at the very least mini's of Jora, Ogden, Vekk all the old gang. Or a side story thread where you could earn them. Alot of us want to show our love for the past by presenting it in the future. Griffs are amazing and the new skin incredible but Id love to see a dragon. With beautiful glowing scale wings. on and thumbs up on the cape glider skin. Love it.
