I have been stuttering the same as well. I am not sure if it is netlag or a problem with DX11?
I almost have micro stuttering on movement as well while getting over 60fps .
i7 9700
RTX 2080S

kitten, didn't see that in the patch notes. I lowered the refresh rate to 60Hz and it fixed the issue.

I have a somewhat of a unique issue.
My 120Hz+ 10bit monitor using freesync and a RTX 2080s flickers when not using windowed fullscreen in some games, especially GW2.
I have altered the range as well using CRU which fixed the issue.
This fix worked great for months and still works in DX9 mode.
I feel that the DX11 mode isn't truly using a fullscreen windowed mode as I am still getting flickering
I have tried everything I can think of so far but to no avail. It would seem unless Anet fixes this post beta I am doomed to DX9 mode since I can't handle the flickering.
It is very obvious and noticeable when changing between windowed and fullscreen windowed modes.

I have it working but i also have some bad flickering. Not sure if its freesynch or dx 11 or both.
I can't play gw2 without gaussian blur and added sharpness.

Happened to me. Going to try again later. Signed up, waited, got chest, took Portal back,waited for timer and just received the reward for doing the event. It didn't progress the meta chieve.

Seriously though; its darker, which is ok if you want to sharpen in reshade.
I don't use p912pxy because of updates and I have a new rig.

I have just gotten a new sweet monitor and I have been going nuts trying to figure this out. Was close to returning the monitor too. I just bought a new cable as well because of flickering.

Don't feel bad. Gw2 has a great community and don't be afraid to ask questions here or in-game. I have found gw2 to be a very helpful and hopefully less toxic group than other MMOs.

I would love a GW3, however like other posters have said that might be a while in the future.
With DX11 I honestly would love a texture update. Seriously. Some of the textures, especially in the old maps are just hard on the eyes. They break the immersiveness and could be reworked. This also wouldn't affect end users with older systems but would be a welcome addition to those with newer ones.
Some other cool suggestions from other posters as well.

Couple of things. I think an infusion aesthetic slot is ok as long as you let me stack because at this point in the game it keeps me interested. I have done so so many rainstorms and have just the 1 aurene wep. I have never gotten a rare infusion outside of buying Halloween bags for fun. At the end of the day I am ok with rare items but make it so I don't just say meh and give up because that's what's happening. I like a token system even if it's as bad as the jormag infusion, just give us some hope.
I refuse to grind the DRM for the new achieves too....were these last month's not enough!????!?!!!
I am seeing a disturbing new "back to the grind" trend from anet and its not a good thing.

Any plans to sell the Ice reaver cape with the rest of the armor set? A reintroduction would be perfect right about now.

I caved and got it. I love it, however I agree it was expensive. Why can't I buy the cape? Why isn't it in the store?

P912pxy is working fine but it seems that reshade might have an issue with Nvidia newest drivers? I cant play the game without those shaders, it is simply unbearable. Off to other games till there is a fix it seems.

Currently running a RTX 2080S with i7 9700. Should be able to push those frames I hope.

GW2 does have some bad textures yes but the question was will those bad textures look better on a 4k display? I know i will probably never get those frames in GW2 so future proofing is on order.I use Supersampling and a mixture of Gaussian blur as well as a few sharpness injectors to give the illusion currently of finer textures or pixel clarity I suppose.
Anyone playing the game at 4k currently that has any opinion or advice?

Gw1 had the incentive of rarity within the item ie. Req 8 15^50 etc...
Gw2 is just skins
Inscriptions helped to change it so cool weapons with crappy stats were never a waste.
I don't mind rare items but I gave up on ever getting a second scion weapon from dragonfall and I do that all the time
Drop rates need to be increased a smidgen across the board
