  1. I stopped spending money on this game after knowing that they spent their revenue on a mobile game. The mobile game was later scrapped, wasting all of their revenue. I don't trust ArenaNet anymore. They don't reinvest enough back into the game. Instead they're now selling toys, art and merchandise. Why not sell those in the game instead. Did you see the marketing attempt by NCsoft? Their revenue is being spent on clothing, merchandise and toys. Nothing that benefits the game.
  2. Don't worry about that comment. In few weeks, guilds are leaving WvW and this game. WvW is no longer supported by Anet.
  3. A lot of guilds left WvW within the past month and many more are leaving within a week. ArenaNet had a presentation with 30k viewers. They declined to tell us about WvW's future. The host asked a question about WvW and the developers were not permitted to answer it. After that the VP of marketing took the stage and tried to sell us a bunch of GW2 dolls, shirts and toys. When asked about the living story they were more willing to comply as they are allowed too. Management in ArenaNet makes it forbidden for their developers to answer questions about WvW and PvP. In response the WvW community got frustrated and angry since we've been the community that has been waiting for 4 years for a reason to be competitive and a reason to win match-ups. The second reason, Arena's main focus is PvE now. Their PvE team is 10 times that of their WvW and sPvP teams combined. After hearing that we've decided that the best thing to do was to leave the game. Our goals do not coincide with ArenaNet's goals. ArenaNet has awesome developers, but they lack the management and principles to maintain a competitive mode. There is no reward for winning a fight or match-up. Capturing objectives yield essentially nothing, as karma is the worst of currencies and the gain is so minimal that you're better off playing PvP. Their biggest mistake was not continuing WvW seasons and improving upon it. WvW seasons would be perfect with the current structure of WvW. Awarding all 3 servers for participating and winning the match-up. 1st 100%/2nd 50%/3rd 25% as a rewards split would give people something to fight for while also rewarding the servers participating for their efforts.
  4. PvP would be the problem child they gave up on. Considering the whole fiasco with people buying wins and gaming the system.WvW would be neglected. He cries and mom is just reading a book and nodding going "uh huh, that's interesting dear."PvE has a giant trophy case in the living room. Jokes aside; I love this game, and I don't have any major complaints. But it would be nice for them to add something to WvW that isn't just borrowed from PvE (not that I don't like having gliding and a mount, I just want something added that was tailored for WvW from the start) I mean they were trying things at a time, the portable cannons and repair hammers, etc.But people raged about them during the trial about imbalance, etc. the same way they raged about mounts and gliding. WvW is the child who keeps begging for things but then screams when they are given something new because they don't like to give it a chance. WvW needs attention, no doubt. But the serious WvW players needs to stop whining when things change in their game mode. Like, you want something new but you don't want it to change things too much, well that isn't how changes work.Also, if you've ever visited the WvW forums, we don't want something new. We want a reason to win and something similar to WvW seasons (alliances). That is all. We don't care about new cannons, mounts, structures, maps and etc. I even made a poll to see if players would buy a WvW update that would bring competitiveness back to WvW and an overwhelming of the results were positive. PvE players have been asking for Living Seasons and they always get what they deserve. That's a great part by the LS team. In WvW, we've been asking for alliances for 2 years. We would be lucky to get a roadmap every 10 months. I don't know why the communication is so strict on the WvW/sPvP scene. The PvE team is constantly telling their players about the future. I'm jealous in all honesty.

Here's an honest opinion, we just want a reason to be competitive, a reason to win. In 2015 we had that in WvW seasons where servers had to compete to claim the ultimate prize, titles, finishers, exclusive currency and benefits for the server. Now WvW is just a big Karma train. We don't want anything else other than this and something similar to WvW seasons. PvE gets updated everyone 2-3 months. We've been asking for 2 years now. We don't care about shiny mounts or changes to how WvW is played. We only care about why it should be played. I apologize if I sound a little annoyed. It's just that we've been waiting for years for alliances while PvE gets updated every 2 months. For every 20 pve updates, there is 1 for WvW that we didn't ask for. I don't understand why the teams over in the PvE department do so well listening to their customers. While our team only rolls what they seem fitting and not what the community demands.

  7. Right? It's more evident that the population for "Full" status has been declining as well. Blackgate, being used as the definition of a "full server", lost many of it's population and activity. Guilds leaving and popular commanders. It's a shame really. WvW during seasons was such a blast. We had a reason to fight and win in WvW. Now without seasons, everything is just a karma train. Also I find it funny that Blackgate opened as soon as Cookie left. He brought such a huge following, in terms of WvW.
  8. They need to focus on giving a reason to win in WvW before implementing new ideas. WvW is in a decline right now. With the mass exodus of Guilds within the next week. WvW will be truly dead.

  13. That's a great and I'm for that. Casual play should be in every MMO, but that shouldn't be a reason to neglect their hardcore fans.
  14. What does that have to do ith the discussion of leechers? or perhaps you are one of them? Prime example of why nobody likes leechers. They leech off of tohers for the loot.
  15. Idk about fractals but raids should be on the difficulty of CM Dhuum or higher. If they don't like that idea, then just make CM raids Bi-weekly. Raids are meant for hardcore players. Hardcore players enjoy difficult content. We have plenty of fun casual events in GW2 which is not a bad thing. It's nice to have variety.
  16. There is a flaw in the participation system. It rewards players for afking and auto-attacking. Please put a damage requirement for the rewards but don't make it high so that people can't just afk and leech off of the efforts of others.
  17. Raids and fractals are the hard content. So if you are asking for harder raids/fractals, then sure, by all means.But open world is supposed to be casual / solo / i'm just randomly running almost naked and wanna hit things friendly. P.S.: Let's not forget that the game was (maybe even is) marketed as casual friendly. Yeah and that's great. There is nothing wrong about the game being casual. The problem is that it's far too easy so people just leech metas and afk for rewards while others do the darn work. The game encourages people to leech off of others.
  18. I play everything. PvP, WvW, Raids, PvE. Compared to other games, GW2 is way too easy and they spoil players too much. That's why we have people who are lazy and just afk metas.
  19. I'm in Blackgate so I can't do that unfortunately. Most of BG WvW players are hardcore players. That's why we ppt so much lol.
  20. Too much of GW2 requires 0 effort. You're spoiling the community too much to the point where they just auto attack metas while afk.
