  1. I think having an AI bounty appear in WvW could be cool, whichever world does the most damage to it can get some kind of bonus.
  2. I have to agree, I used to be that pve player. Sometimes the pve dailys suck, so you come to wvw to clean one up and hope you don't get killed so you can leave and get on with your day.
  3. It's not worth it to me, although Griffon is barely worth the cost and I didn't enjoy the scavenger hunts. It's just not fun gameplay to me. I would need to plug in a second monitor just to see where I need to go next constantly. Once I got past the first scavenger hunt to the part where you just need to do events I was having fun again, but then you have to make another tour of the island to find sick skyscales. No thanks. The Taco addon helps, but it doesn't make it much less tedious. I'd normally be the first to agree that the whole purpose of Skyscale is to sell skins, but if that's the case I would think they would have made the mount easier to get.
  4. I see the word loyalty thrown around when it comes to unlocking Living Story maps. You literally just have to log in once while the Episode is the latest one. I don't see how that makes you loyal. It only punishes new players. Everyone should have to pay for living story or it should be free for everyone. I think the current system is terrible, but I know, lets praise Anet for allowing you to buy them by converting gold to gems.
  5. Since they nerfed epidemic I always felt the least they could do was reduce the cast time to .5 seconds or instant.
  6. I too found the requirements for the griffon mount excessive and tedious. The griffon is such a quality of life increase that I just sucked it up like someone suggested earlier in the thread.
  7. I played through it once on scourge. Then I got one of the mythical story disconnects that happen during the last cutscene of a story instance. So I contemplated quitting the game forever, but instead I repaired my GW2 archive which seems to correct the problem for a week or so. On the second run I realized I could use sand swell, which made it a lot easier. I didn't really enjoy that segment, but I thought it was well done.
  8. I'd assume that this is not nearly so simple as it sounds, because otherwise it kind of is the obvious thing to do. It might not be the easiest thing to do, but at least it's something to do.
  9. I tried two things and I haven't had any disconnects. Since then I have completed 4 complete living story 2 episodes. Unfortunately, I don't know which one fixed my problem. I stopped playing in Windowed Fullscreen mode. I noticed this trouble started around the time I was tabbing out to look things up. I also cleared the appdata folder like someone suggested in this thread.
  10. I came here just to complain about this problem. I'm trying to do Hidden Arcana, which has annoying mechanics and is irritating enough on its own, and I got disconnected twice. I'm glad they are working on the problem, but I am pretty close to quitting the personal story altogether. If you can't fix the problem, why can't we just "reconnect" back to the checkpoint we were at instead of starting the whole story over?
