  1. W2Z2 is really cool too, but it has almost too much stuff, much of it really cool for the first time though (thank god to the shortcut eagle or I'd never do repeat playthroughs of this zone). I want a new world too of course, something watery or sky themed for example (I mean every good game like this needs an underwater level, but some of the new tech you guys have, namely moving platforms would be super cool too). I am not sure how easy this would be, compared to a new world or a level, but some alternate routes (with secrets ;)) for the existing worlds would be cool too. Edit: how about a secret exit? (not sure what finding it would get you, but that would kind of be a secret and an alternate route in one, but I am probably going way past the sort of stuff you had in mind when you asked).
  2. I really don't get what all the fuss is about, sure timegates that are not properly communicated sucks... but that's it. People seem to forget few things, LS5 will not require the skyscale, in fact unless they change their policies in a major way no upcoming content will require mounts beyond PoF core set. They even called Skyscale a prestige mount comparing it to Griffon, so it will be very much optional. So, unless you are hardcore achievement hunter currently there is no pressing need for the Skyscale, other than just to have it for the sake of having it, and there will not be any such need going forward. In the event that they would design content that requires this mount they would either provide mount rentals or roosts on any maps that include such content.
  3. The problem with 1 day sales, I think they are 1 day anyways, is that by the time someone figures out the issue and/or gets to the ticket the reason for me to buy gems at all will be gone with the sale.

If they made these I'd buy them, but I don't think they will because the style would require more than just reskin, at best you would need new models with tweaked animations (even if they were based on existing SAB stuff) and in the worst case you'd need a tweaked rig for it to look good. Having said all that I don't particularly think SAB is stylistically good fit for mount skins, the only one I actually think might work is a revision on the shortcut eagle for the griffon, or king toad for springer. The others would feel kind of forced, unless they just made SAB styled raptor and skimmer etc. from scratch just for this that is never going to happen. But in the event that they were going to do this, I'd be curious as to how they would approach it and what we would end up with certainly.
  5. As far as I know it's not that they won't let us, but rather that they can't let us skip the kind of scenes/dialogue you mention. It is a technical limitation of how the in-engine scenes are put together. The only kind of scenes that they can let us skip are the cinematic pre-rendered stuff (or the 2012 talking character models scenes). Or to put it another way, they don't have the technology and creating it obviously is not easy or it would have happened by now (this is a common criticism of the newer story stuff after all).
  6. Frequent issue for me as well, I assume it is related to latency, seems completely random but more frequent in higher population or otherwise busy areas.
  7. So, griffon is "OP", what is the problem. It can't do combat, nor can it "fly" without starting from a high elevation, and last I checked most things that give you (meaningful) stuff require combat. You can break out of maps with it, these will likely be addressed with invisible walls or adding kill triggers at map boundaries, if the devs feel that the breaks are a big enough problem. The devs basically said during mount live streams that people will be able to go to unintended places in core maps using the mounts, particularly they noted that players will hit invisible walls with the Springer. So, let's get rid of that now too (after all Springer is basically what enables Griffon to fly in many old maps to begin with).

For Zhaitan and Mordremoth you answer your own questions (except for Zhaitan it had more to do with the particular type of cannon than having airships, which in turn had to do with the orb at fort trinity if memory serves, its been too long). As for why the commander was able to kill Balthazar, we are mindmelded with a dragon pup that is supposed to replace an elder dragon some day and wielding a relic of Orr (Rytlocks sword is plenty special), what is one god stripped of his power against that. Note that unlike when we had our chat with Kormir, standing in front of Balthazar did never blind us, ergo he never was a god at the point when we met him. Regarding Kralkatorriks involvement, he had just been given a spanking by Balthazar using Aurene (the story clearly establishes that Kralkatorrik is his own biggest weakness, and Aurene being Glints off-spring makes that true when it comes to Aurene, which is why Balthazar chose to use Aurene to begin with). Of course after Balthazar dies, Kralkatorrik gets charged right back up again, but during the fight he is pretty weakened.
  9. I had no issue with this guy, sure he killed me once... but after that then I just moved out of range when he tried to sap me. I was running a somewhat survivable daredevil staff/SB at the time. This was way simpler than fussing about with his break bar (my only real skills capable of breaking his bar probably were the stealth skills and thieves guild, but frankly if running away works why bother at all :P)
  10. My feedback: needs a mastery for automatically switching to skimmer when mounted with any other mount and coming into contact with hazards the skimmer is immune to. Mount juggling is fine, in general, but for whatever reason water in particular can be common enough that this would be something I'd give a lot to have, even more if it could swap back to original mount once no-longer on a surface that benefits the skimmer. The poor mans version of this would be to at least automatically swap selected mount to skimmer when on waters surface (where all other mounts are useless), save us a bit of leg work.
