  1. This is something I have heard players talk about a lot so thought Id make a post about it. I think it would be great if these infusions allowed us to select if we wanted the effect on or not. The infusions have a minor stat buff but some of them are just not used because of the effect place. The stone dwarf infusion is a great example. Many players unlocked the infusion but the fact it turns your character into stone caused a lot of people to remove the infusion and retire it to the bank. I think having these effects toggleable would be a great addition to the game and since infusions, at least those with effects, are somewhat rare adding them to a system like the legendary armory would be a nice addition. Letting people unlock the effects based on the number of each infusion added since the effects seem to stack visually. This would both grant players who earned, or bought, these infusions an added bonus for these expensive items as well as remove the need to choose between a visual effect and stat buff. This would also increase the value of more common infusions as it would create an incentive for players to seek out these infusions.
  2. keep in mind it was a stress test event. Using the squad system a lot of those issues would be elevated and I'm sure the health pools adjusted. Our dps is also significantly better now than it was back then. The ancient karka was a more active event making you pay attention to positioning. the karka queen most just stand around and mash 1.
  3. The only ran on November 18th 2012. From my memory one of the twitch streams talked about the event being used as both a stress test for the engine and as a prelude to the mega server system. Essentially seeing how well the game could handle it. So it is an event most people ended up missing. It even had its own cutscene for the bosses demise. I think using the squad system that dragonstom uses would actually fix a lot of the issues both allowing them to control the number of mobs and the number of players and provide a more stable connection.
  4. For those who are unaware the ancient Karka was part of a one time meta event know as the lost shores. Few people were able to actually try this event as it was ran once in a two hour window used to stress test the game. The fight was a rather interesting one fighting the ancient Karka across Southsun and to the top of the Karka nest only to have it roll back down those ramps crushing the players in its was. With the new squad instances that both dragonstorm and the Marionette will be using the ancient Karka seems like the perfect fit using this system. I still tell my friends about the event they never got to experience and how the Karka Queen was nothing to this massive Beast. I think reintroducing it as a squad instance using the scrying pool would be a great readdiction to the game and give those who missed this one time event the chance to see it for themselves..
  5. Some clarification. From the news post it seems that those who have account bound versions of twilight and sunrise will be receiving a token allowing them to craft eternity while still having both legendries unlocked for the armory allowing all three to be unlocked in the armory. What about those of us who crafted eternity from twilight and sunrise before this. Will twilight and sunrise be available in the armory since we already have the skin or would those who made eternity beforehand be forced to craft another twilight and sunrise to have them as part of the armory? The skin unlocks can be used to separate who actually had both twilight and sunrise vs those who just bought eternity off the tp.

  7. The issue I often have is the area is cleared to fast so the tank moves past the events giving no time to kill them. the event ends early making progression impossible.
  8. I finished the achievement for the tier 2 like many others salvaged them all as there was no indication we would need them for the future. Either the recipe needs changed or those who have completed the weapons should be able to buy them back from a vendor for say map curency and just make it so they can not be salvaged or thrown into the mystic forge. I am hoping we hear an update on this else I may join the crowd sending customer support a ticket
