  1. After 4 days, I finally got a response from support. They told me to make sure the game was fully downloaded (it is), that content streaming was set to on-demand (it was), and finally, to set the frame limiter to 60FPS. I haven't yet had time to test it with the frame limiter, but how on earth could that lead to disconnects? Furthermore, if setting it to unlimited causes these disconnection issues, then it is a bug that should have been fixed (or at least acknowledged) in the year and a half since. At the very least, I shouldn't just now be hearing about it as a potential fix since this is the third time I've attempted to engage support on the exact same issue.
  2. I filed 2 tickets the other day: one for being unable to buy gems, and the other to get some help on disconnection issues. The gem ticket was responded to in less than a day, but it's now day 4 on the support ticket.
  3. After getting nowhere with support on this issue, I stopped playing for over a year. I just came back, thinking "they have to have fixed this by now, right?" Nope. Got booted out of the very first story instance I tried to play (of course, it was at the very end). Put in a new ticket; no response after 48 hours.
  4. Just a reminder: this thread has been active for 267 days, without a single visit from ANet.
  5. After 2 days of waiting to hear back from support on this issue, I ended up using a Teleport to Friend to a friend with a Griffon to get to the entrance. I got through the instance without disconnecting this time by skipping both post-fight cutscenes as quickly as possible. Then, I had to go find the cutscenes on youtube to see what happened. I'm constantly looking over my shoulder for this bug while trying to play through the story; what a terrible way to have to play the game.
  6. Funny enough, this is the exact same as the most recent suggestion I got from support. Unfortunately, I can't tell if it worked because I still can't get to the entrance of the To Kill a God instance.
  7. Still blocked. In the week since I filed a ticket, I have been given a total of one suggestion from support to solve this problem, and that suggestion was stupid: change the game to windowed mode. Tried it anyway, and that's the attempt that got me stuck. Maybe I just need to seek a refund for PoF; I can't play it because of this bug that ANet refuses to do anything about, so what did I pay for?
  8. Just occurred again in To Kill a God. Kill the boss, get a cutscene, booted out to character select with 7:11:3:191:101. Because Beast of War flows into this one, I am now stuck; unable to get to the To kill a God instance because the gate (that was open in the instance) is closed, and I was left at the place where Beast of War begins.
  9. I'm having a hard time understanding how this thread can go completely untouched by the devs for almost a year. What is the point of even having a tech support forum if no one at Anet is even listening?
  10. Exact same story here. I left the game after living world season 2, just recently came back and started playing through the expansions. I get disconnected with error code 7:11:3:191:101, on average, once per instance. I got through HoT and season 3, and I'm most of the way through PoF, but it's just not fun anymore; It feels like a chore when I know I'm probably going to have to do it over again anyway.

This happens in about half of story instances for me, and has occurred in instances from the personal story, living world seasons 2&3, HoT, and now PoF (I haven't done season 4 yet; mostly because I have had to waste so much time replaying every other chapter because of this bug). It seems related to the triggering of a cutscene, as others have mentioned, but the silly advice of moving my character or trying to use a skill is useless because the cutscene never actually starts. As soon as I get booted to character select, I can hit play and get back immediately without having to log in in the launcher. If a disconnect is happening, how am I able to log back in without authenticating? Either the disconnect message is a lie, or this is a HUGE security hole. I've tried a client repair, reinstalling the game, lowering my graphics settings, reformatting and reinstalling Windows, and even playing on a different computer on a different internet connection from a different ISP; This issue is NOT on my end. EDIT: also worth mentioning that I'm connected to my router via ethernet, so this is not a wifi-only issue.
