  1. It would be nice if dungeon bosses have a chance to drop exotic weapon/armor with dungeon skin (like Nightmare weapons and armor in TA).I don't think dungeons needs to be super boosted with loot. It would be great to make people not skip dungeons (I don't like skipping. One mistake at the end and you have to go through hell again). Maybe something like (kill X mobs to open the boss), create mini-events with killing groups of mobs, e.g. wiping gravelings in the tunnels before boss (otherwise boss shouldn't spawn). Loot should be scaled to the character's level. If you're doing AC on 80lvl char, u should get 80lvl gear (especialy trinkets with orbs).Maybe just add more and useful things to the dungeon vendor for tokens.

  2. @"Raizel.8175" said:I don't really think that doing VG once is the same as "getting into raiding". VG is one of the easiest and especially most intuitive raid-bosses due to the little pre-event where you already learn the mechanics of the encounter.

I don't think VG is one of the easiest bosses. VG has many mechanics (teleports, greens, seekers, split - one of the lesser guardians is vulnerable only to condi, there are orbs damaging players, floor is also deathly). These things cannot be ignored (exept greens, but it's easy to fail). More things to care = higher chance to fail. For comparison Samarog has only 4 different mechanics: CC every 10%, 2 encounters with lesser bosses, greens and players have to avoid waves. It is not too much. Failing mechanics at Samarog isn't that punishing.

  3. I have some suggestions too.We Bleed Fire — attacking an enemy will give you a stack of burning, instead of initial 6k and burn for 1k every tick.Flux Bomb — I have 2 ideas:

    1. Remove the aoe effect and deal increased damage for every player withing the range. Something opposite to green in Siren's Reef. If you're alone - take no damage. 20% dmg increase for every "catched" person (for whole party it's damage of 80% total HP).
    2. Something similar to point 1. but it dazes instead of dealing damage.
  4. I wonder how powerful are our characters compared to the different enemies and allies. If the Commander had a rank (like mobs have - veteran, elite, champion, legendary) — what it would be?Some NPCs seems to be very powerful, like Queen Jennah — she can instantly kill someone and create a huge feedback, when our mesmer character can't kill regular enemy with one shot of mantra. The Commander can be easily killed by a common enemy, but we can kill champions and legendary enemies (with or even without any help). It seems like The Commander is powerful and simultaneously weak.Balthazar e.g. can literally one-shot our character (and he did it 4 times — In Rata Novus, in the vulcano, in Desert Highlands and in Elon Riverlands), but he failed to kill us in the final encounter. So what... is The Commander stronger than Balthazar in PoF (with Aurene's help, but teoreticaly The Commander can spare him), Mordremoth, Palawa Joko (we didn't kill him, but he was defeated)? Is it possible to characters like Queen Jennah or Koss (he killed Iberu with one hit) to replace us and do the job better? Like... come on, they can kill powerful people much faster. If Jennah e.g. can create a feedback for whole city, it proves that she can utilize mesmer magic much better than The Commander, so she IS more powerful.

  5. I'm using it only to troll people and teleport them away from chests, bank and TP.This is good to escape, because this portal in only one-way, it means you can return to your starting position. If you want to teleport your party somewhere, you have to go to the destination place and back. Not super useful for allies.

  6. Have you ever heard about the strongest build in the universe by Lord Hizen? You don't have to care about taking damage, because over 3k toughness makes every hit feel like nothing, and healing 10% of your condi damage is enough to nullify every damage you take.

Chrono is good, or mesmer at all.

  7. @"Poormany.4507" said:I feel like reviving is like healing an injured or unconscious npc or player, while those that cannot be revived are permanently dead.

It is not clear if "fallen allies" are dead or only injured (but probably they should be taken as injured and unconscious). If they're injured, they could be in downed state, but only thing that can be downed, is player character and specific enemies (e.g. Tarnished Traitor or Legendary Bandit Executioner).

  8. @Nokomis.5076 said:Enemies can become invincible when they leave their dedicated area, e.g. when someone tries to lure them out too far away from their spawn point.

Then they will become invincible and walk back to their spawn point and regenerate health.

Right, but i.e. in Jahai (during the event near the first WP), mobs can become invulnerable within the event area (defended point) where they stand still. It is not luring them out of spawn point. It seems to be random, not a part of any mechanics.

  9. There is one thing I'm thinking about and I can't understand this. First time I was wondering about how the death works in game, was in core story if you took the Whisper's way to attack Orr.Some characters can die. Permanently. OK.But some characters can be REVIVED.What is the think I don't understand? In the mission of invading the Orr, we have to revive a fallen NPC after their ship is destroyed. And then another NPC got shot in the back and just dies.Do you remember that story mission at 60lvl in Claw Island? Sure you do. We have to REVIVE Deputy Mira. But... was she dead? What is reviving? Do all those NPCs during events and story, if fallen, are DEAD, and we can just bring them back to life? You know... if we can bring people to life, why we didin't just say "don't worry, Braham, let me just revive Eir. She will be fine".NPCs can revive other fallen NPCs and players.

  10. Jackal — is very evasive, can use portals, can dodge (teleport) in midair. It has more uses than raptor for me.

Raptor — has the best speed burst and pull on dismount.

Griffon — it's all fun to jump from a high place and just reach that speed.

Skyscale — can do the same job as springer, but it's better at this and skyscale can't fall down.

Roller Beetle — only if there's enough of open space.

Skimmer — ugly but allows me to avoid water.

Warclaw — useful only in WvW.

    Springer — totally useless now.

  11. The only buff rifle deadeye needs is more range. I main rifle deadeye — damage is OK, initiative costs is OK, cast time are OK. But it's a SNIPER, so deadeye should get more range (up to 2k).And bring back unblockable Death Jugdement plz.

  12. Staff for necro — Symbols? Meh...Hammer for guardian — it is too slow.Shadow Flare (that aoe skill for deadeye) — I want this skill to NOT remove stealth.Dagger Storm — 4,5s of being fidget spinner that shreds you to pieces and you can't damage it because of evade... and it can FOLLOW YOU with the speed of light. Make it IMMOBILE.Stealth — should break enemy's targeting. It mean your foe will stop attacking you if you're stealthed. Currently if you enter the stealth, every ranged mob can continue attack you like you were visible.Well of Calamity — more damage. Phantasmal Disenchanter has more damage, removes boons, can hit 5 targets, is faster and thanks to Chronomatophasma it can strike again. As a chrono it's clear which skill is better.2nd downed skill for mesmer — this skill teleports your character to RANDOM place, so it can be even an upper floor in CM dungeon. Maybe this skill should teleport you back? All teleports (Blink, Shadowstep, Lighting Flash) — they should ignore all things on player's path. Sometimes you can't use a skill because of stairs or other invisible thing. If you can stand there — you should be able to teleport there.

    1. Raiding guilds — they may look for beginers. You can find them in LFG under Raids or just ask in LA or DR.
    2. Join training squads — they usualy don't require any KP or LI. If you don't know any mechanics — don't be afraid to ask to explain them.

It could be difficult to get into raids as a PUG if you don't have any experience or LI.

  13. There is no king of the Open World PvE. Survivability depends on build and your skill. Some people can say "elementalist is a thrash because bla bla bla dies in one hit". Do you know that group event in Crystal Oasis a'ka Balthazar's Army? I did it solo as an auramancer tempest. This build provides a lot of protection, evades, healing, reflects... later I did it as a POWER scourge.I can easily solo champs with my deadeye (there is a trait that heals you for percent of critical hits).

But if you're a beginer, you can try with power reaper.

  14. It would be really nice to have staff as an ofensive weapon on necro. Staff could be good for both condi and power damage. No symbols.

    1. Damage of the AA staff skill should be greatly increased.
    2. Send a slow moving orb that explodes dealing moderate damage and inflicting torment to your foe and nearby enemies (cooldown 12s)
    3. Curse your foe by blinding and poisoning it. Unblockable (cooldown: 10s).
    4. Push back your foes with a blast of dark energy (cooldown: 15s).
    5. Create a field of grasping hands at your targeted location. The hands will randomly rise from the ground, dealing damage, bleeding and crippling enemies (cooldown: 30s).
  15. Mace — a weapon used to control enemies, weaking them and reduces their defense. Stealth attack would be something like "hit your foe's head from shadows, stunning them and dealing heavy damage". Of course it would be a slow weapon.Axe — slash your foe, break defense, throw an axe at your foe. This should be a brutal weapon.

  16. Brilliant idea. Raids just like a fractals with Tiers, but only playing high-tier raids would grant you achievements and good rewards.People are learning fractals by doing lower (and easier) tiers. Raids could use the same thing. I really want to raid, but everyone expecting me to have KPs, 250 LI+ and (of course) experience. Training groups are myth, zero progress. You need an experience player who will tell you everything about the boss. We could just learn the raid step-by-step from easy mode to hard.
