  1. Removing alacrity on Desert Empowerment (and thus shades) is a big hit to a build you designed yourselves. We're now back to only Chrono providing alacrity. You wanted a support variant for necro, but now crippling it for the 2nd patch in a row. Might I suggest buffing up the initial heal or the regen coefficient on Well of Blood as a compensation?
  2. Just got a reply back from support. They checked the development side, and the devs have been made aware of this. It'll be fixed soon.
  3. Yeah, that definitely seems to be the case, which would bring it to -49.5% healing effectiveness (or probably rounded to a nice, round -50%). I can accept -50%, and it's still a good relic. Until Vass get its cooldown removed on the 28th 😉 I agree, don't get me wrong. -83% send like a crazy amount, and I was merely testing its validity. Mechanically it's working as it should. Tooltips are just a mess.

  5. Because I'm a condi-transferring necro main, and because I'm curious, I wanted to test if condi transfer and the new Relic of the Demon Queen synergize. My theory was that if you get poison applied on you while you have the relic equipped, and transfer it back with, eg Deathly Swarm (dagger 4) or the "Suffer!" reaper shout, it would apply the poison with -83% healing effectiveness, instead of the regular -33%. To test this, I teamed up with a friend in our guild hall. He's on ranger with Stalker's Strike (dagger 4) as poison source. His healing skill (We Heal As One) in its initial state will heal him for 7159 health and doesn't cleanse conditions. Initial, perfect world percent calculations: - No poison: heal for 7159 - Poison without relic: heal for 5512 (-33%) - Poison with relic: heal for 1217 (-83%) Results: It turns out that transferring poison takes a bit of effort. I had to use both Deathly Swarm and "Suffer!" before it landed on him. Also, I'm accepting the healing values to be "within margin", even though they don't hit the perfect world percentages, as, with everything in this game, we have to take various variables into account. It could be other conditions, maxing out healing (not taking enough damage before healing), etc. - Ranger -> Necro (without relic) -> Ranger: healed for 4989, so within a -33% margin - Ranger -> Necro (with relic) -> Ranger: healed for 3580, so within a -50% margin - Necro pistol 3 (without relic) -> Ranger: healed for 4797, so again within a -33% margin - Necro pistol 3 (with relic) -> Ranger: healed for 3580, so -again within a -50% margin At no point during the test did we reach the -83% healing effectiveness. This means the -83% as advertised both on the relic and on tooltips (Vile Blast's tooltip is updated to -83% while the relic is equipped) is false, but rather -50%. Vile Blast (necro pistol 3) was specifically chosen, as it both poisons and interrupts, thus should definitely trigger the relic. On the other hand, if you look at other similar "buffs", eg Improved Alacrity trait on Chrono, -50% would be acceptable but since this relic is advertised as -83% as it says on the relic tooltip and skills synergizing with it, then it's either not working as intended or the description is wrong. Video proof: Ranger POV: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1973484663?t=02h04m06s (pardon the occasional Danish). I'm sure this test can be done much more thoroughly but this is a good baseline that shows Relic of the Demon Queen doesn't work as advertised.
  6. I can confirm it says -83%. What I'm curious about, though, is if it also works with condi transfer. I mean, I assume I "apply poison" by transferring poison already on me to an enemy, correct? Then will it be with the original -33% that was put on me, or with the new Demon Mommy relic poison? There's no way of telling. I'll conduct some testing later today and post results.
  7. I just completed the story but not with any sort of ease. I understand the Sickened debuff is a thing during our first encounter with Cerus in the beginning in Hell Breaks Loose. However, I completed the last chapter, Treachery, with a friend who told me two things: - in the last fight with me, he didn't have Sickened on him, however he was unable to do anything to Cerus - fair enough. - when he had completed the chapter solo on a different character only hours earlier, he didn't have the Sickened effect either, and was actually able to kill Cerus without dying 12 times, and without the assistance of Peitha ressing constantly. So, is it a bug that Sickened stays during the last encounter in Treachery, or is it a bug that my friend didn't have it when he completed it solo on a different character? If not a bug, it's quite unintuitive how one gets rid of the effect.
  8. Probably not. There's the whole "prove it" kinda thing that makes it hard, plus the down-prioritizing of PvP in general. You'll just have to play around it, like everyone else.
  9. Please provide a solution to your fix for others with the same issue.

  11. I can confirm this bug. Example 1: Joined a tower cap late, didn't do damage to the lord, fully capped the circle. Got bronze participation. Example 2: Did cata 1 out of 2 on Hills (so 50% damage on two walls), did PvE rotations on the lord, fully capped the circle. Got bronze participation.
  12. Not sure where to put this, and experience tells me a support ticket isn't the right answer. I'm really hoping someone can clear something up about the affiliate program. And if not, please refer me to someone who can. As any form of application has been removed from the website, I was wondering if it has been shut down entirely? I can't find the link on the front page anymore, and it's gone from Google's history. The reason I'm asking is that I got accepted as an affiliate (read: not partner) through the CJ platform a year ago - right up before the launch of End of Dragons. The CJ platform is where you'd get sent to when you pressed "apply" on the now non-existant affiliate program page. I got my URL, even though very shady-looking, and asked my friends and the viewers of my Twitch stream to use this whenever they'd purchase the game, or upgrade an account. I've even used it myself three times, most recently in January 2023 for a free-to-play account upgrade. It appears to be working, yet one must disable all sorts of adblockers to not end up on a blank page. Yet, I'm now receiving emails from the CJ platform saying I haven't earned a single commision within the last 5 months and my account is about to be deactivated as a result. Again, I used my own link not even a month ago as of writing. So another question would be: If the affiliate program is shut down or moved to another platform, why weren't current affiliates notified about this? And a third question: since partners have their own affiliate URL that leads players into a guildwars2-namespaced URL on go2cloud, why is/was the affiliate program outsourced to yet another third party? I've had so many players ask me if the URL was safe. I mean, would *you* click a URL starting with "kqzyfj.com"? Thanks, Arky
  13. Perma CC is so unfun to play against. I can't equip 8 stun breaks. I'd love to actually play the game and not just look at my skills counting down from 3.
  14. So adding toxic players to your friendslist so you know where to not be in the game is the solution? I don't think that's intended behavior either. If it is, then I'll start researching into making a 3rd-party addon for the game. Would be neat with a shared blocklist across multiple accounts as well. Currently I use my blocklist to know when not to queue in PvP. As in "Oh this toxic person is in Heart of the Mists? Better not queue up until they're safely inside a match and my match is free of their toxicity". There's no way not seeing their online status and their current map is intended behavior. How about not allowing players to set their status to offline? Currently they can do this, but still trash talk you in whispers with no way for you to reply back because "the player you're trying to whisper is offline".
