Coldkiller.3781
Hi, I just moved to a new place (Which have a much better than my last place) and ever since then I've been expirencing massive lag spikes I'm using a wireless router with an external antenta (Both new from TP-link) but I can't get the game to run stably... KrHome.1920
If your wifi router supports this, you can try to split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to prevent automatic swapping and then connect your PC to the 2.4 GHz band. This band is a lot more stable than 5 GHz (but has a lower bandwith (only 150 Mbps)). If you are still having spikes, then just use a cable. This is what I am doing too, because there are like 30 wifi networks from surrounding flats available at my flat and it is impossible to get a stable connection even at 2.4 GHz, because all the networks are interfearing each other. If I use wifi, I have a ping of 25ms, but lag spikes to 3000ms every few seconds. Edited September 3, 2021 by KrHome.1920
Zelo.2653
I've been having massive lag on and off ever since the first beta for the new elite spec, before that it was smooth and stable. Getting real annoying.
