Ruisen.9471
Low draw distance maps works fine in the desert since the "fog" was disguised as dust clouds, but with EoD maps its just not working. EoD maps have few tall obstacles, so everywhere you look its just an unnatural white fog that doesn't feel like it belongs there. We really need a slider in graphics settings so that people with 2015 PC's and newer can increase the draw distance in these maps. SoftFootpaws.9134
Its not fog, its smog and is there on purpose as it fits into the whole 'jade tech is ruining nature' storyline. It was an intentional design decision to make the Canthan maps look smoggy. Edited March 21, 2022 by Hannelore.8153
Ruisen.9471
I'm pretty sure its not intentional aesthetic decision. GW2 has had low draw distance since forever, but it works much better in PoF and in HoT there's massive trees blocking your view so its also not noticeable. Either way, it doesn't exactly look convincing as smog either Edited March 21, 2022 by Ruisen.9471
