mercury ranique.2170 Posted March 31, 2022 Share Posted March 31, 2022 The green swirl is always pointing to a place in your current map. Sometimes it means zooming out a bit further. In this case you where in the southwest corner and you need to go to the north east corner. This means zooming out a bit further then usual. Also please study the different green markers: Map - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) you'll have a green swirl on your mini map when you are on a different map then where the story instance starting point is. This green swirl points towards the place you can portal to the next map (and often you'll need to bridge several maps). You'll have a green star on your mini map (and often green arrows) when the instance entry point is on the same map. The major map (press M) always shows the green star.
