You are in a queue for a match. You go to leave the queue by clicking the leave queue button. For some reason it acts as if you were not in a queue and makes you entirely leave the pvp lobby and loads you into Lion's Arch or wherever you were last standing in pve land. With all the random bug fixes that happen in every patch, it would be pretty cool if you get around to fixing this one.
