Returning Player Seeks Advice

Hello everyone,

 

It has been so long since I played the game but now returning and want to start over. My main interest is PvP then WvW and I am looking for some advise.

 

1. Melee necro is viable at all for PvP and solo run for WvW?

2. For PvP and solo run WvW (or small scale at best) which melee class you recommended?

3. I don’t care meta as long as I have some fun and maybe make a viable melee necro xD

 

oh lastly I am more of a burst/taking time kinda player, would like to take my time, align my burst and shoot it.

Yes, you can get away with reaper in a fair amount of cases.

If you stay next to objectives, yes. If roaming, no. you'll be eaten alive by thieves.

Guardian, followed by ranger. Reaper can work but you will need to have allies close by.

Sounds like you'd like warrior, just expect to have to put lots of work into that if you go that route. Like reaper, you will also need to have allies close by.
