He's too fast to run away from, and he jumps on me immediately whenever I leave my hidey holes. If I let him kill me a certain number of times, will the mission just let me pass out of pity? jason.1083 Posted August 24, 2023 Share Posted August 24, 2023 I noticed that he detects you immediately if he's close by, even if he faces the other direction, the cone in front of him mean nothing, just make sure to leave the bushes and move up once his a fair distance away, keep an eye on him when you get out, if he turn around, just go back in hiding and let him move further away. Yeah I noticed this as well. This threw me off because the cone means nothing and is just indicative of where the kill zone is. Detection is not clear. Best thing is to wait til they are in the opposite end of the room and try leaving your hiding spot to see if he snaps around suddenly. If he does then get back into the hiding spot obviously.
