There are no set timers for these events, and the temples are always uncontested. I am attempting to complete Amnytas Mastery, which in turn requires Honorary Astral Ward, which in turn requires 6 unique weapon skins from collections. 1 of those collection skins, namely Spire of the Forgotten requires 4 items, of which 1 item is obtained by completing the Forgotten Lore achievement. It's truly amazing how one single collection item can completely derail your fun! The last time I needed a single item from ONE temple event, I had to camp it for 2 days straight!!! Now, I need 5 temples! How long am I expected to commit to this? Honestly, I cannot even be bothered at this point. I went to the map to take a quick peek, and as expected, the temples are all uncontested.
