39k is what I'm seeing reported, which is still perfectly fine given the ease of actually applying said DPS in combat.

It was at 41k pre Soto and already busted before soto released. Before that it was 35k. It hasnt been at 28k for a very very long time. That was before solar overbuffed it.

I saw 40k recently which means it is still one of the strongest dps in the game considering the perfect dps uptime potential. Meanwhile cweaver is a joke. Out of all the builds they could nerf they decided to nerf condi weaver.

These devs balance purely on dps numbers with no consideration for dps uptime, boons, utility.

Reaper is probably benching higher than power weaver too now. You will still spam scourge and cvirtu in all content where conditions are good. Most builds are within 1-2k of each other with is just beyond stupid in a game that has 0 ranged downsides in boss encounters and cc requirements and specs with incredible self buff potential and rotations ranging from 80step piano to cvirtu/scourge.

The hardest build that was hit is weaver, scourge is back to 40k which is still too much for how good it performs in real scenarios (not golem). It makes no sense to play a class with forced melee, no boons, no utility when you can just chill with reaper or vindicator. For pretty much all fights, except where power damage scales better (KC, CA, HT), you can still take scourge and virtuoso so how's that "f"?
