Connection error(s) detected. Retrying and Download stuck

Hey guys,

after some years I downloaded GW2 again and I ended up stuck in a connection error loop.

At the first time of downloading the installer, it actually downloaded some stuff. But that's it, nothing more and stuck again in the connection error loop.

What I tried:
I followed this guide and this one too and tried everything, nothing worked.

The second guide is outdated and you should undo whatever changes you made following it.  Then try again and look at what errors the log shows.
