Counter Magic Mastery Bugged in Janthir Syntri

When fighting jade armors or approaching ether towers in Janthir Syntri, the player is afflicted with spectral agony. For players with the Counter Magic mastery trained, this triggers a special action key to appear, which should neutralize the agony and remove all conditions. However, pressing this key has no effect - the agony remains, and the conditions continue. If this is intentional - that a LWS3 mastery should not work in new content - it is not communicated at all, since the skill for it still appears, and additionally there seems to be no new way to counter the agony, making the Champion Jade Armor boss extremely difficult to fight.

I also experienced this and was frustrated that the counter magic ability did nothing, and the spectral agony is very deadly.  I'd prefer if the skill worked in Janthir.

This still seems to be a bug a month and a half after the first post. Very annoying when you're given a special action skill to use during an event, you take the time to read it and it tells you that it will counter the mechanics, and you press it and nothing happens. Why is the skill there if it does nothing???
