Uden Reavstone.3426
Now I know that the ui (skill facts, content guide, map, etc) use "units" to measure distance, but lore wise, are there any mention of units of measurement? I only one I can think of is a scene in the book "Edge of Destiny" in which Zojja and Magnus argue about the accuracy of asura steps vs norn steps. Are there any others? Stitch.1794
Kasmeer is a unit of size. This originated on the wiki where images often include Kasmeer as a size reference, but has also been used in game (tongue in cheek) during season 2 of living story. 2

I have read several times (but can't remember the source) that Anet uses inch units. But of course it's a game and the distances/maps are compressed/shortened etc. and not to scale. In game she was used as a weight unit, iirc, so she's apparently multi-purpose. 1
Blood Red Arachnid.2493
My memory is hazy on this, but I swear I read somewhere that the base unit in the game is the centimeter. So, when a skill says it has a range of 180, that means it has a range of 1.8 meters if scaled properly. Don't know what it means for lore, but that's what the devs use mechanically. 1
