homestead, how to select an item placed inside another item?

sometimes ,even whn its near, its almost impossible to select certain items.....how do yall deal with this?

You can't.

An easy trick to deal with this is to push the outer item aside (use global alignment for easier relocation) to expose the item within, adjust it to your liking, then put the embedding object back to where it was before. 🙂

Depends how deep it in it, sometimes you can see it with the xray and get it out nonetheless but that's rare. 

Best way is to move 1 object to the left where it's inside and then get it out.

 

ps. rip to my chair while building my project which got lost in the building somewhere which I can't even find with xray anymore. And too much of a hassle to move everything because things are placed 🎻                   

Update: somebody found the chair, apparantly I moved it randomly somwhere in the air far away 😂
