Lumpy Forehead.2193
Good evening everyone, I have just noticed last night that I can no longer attack in succession with grenade kit's 1st attack. I used to be able to do it by holding down my mouse button, the auto attack on grenade kit 1 seems to be disabled. I have played around with the 3 ground targeting options in the options menu, and only the "instant" option let me do attack in succession by holding down the attack button, but it doesn't have the ground targeting circle. The other two options have the ground targeting circle but only let me attack once and i have to press attack again to fire another attack. I remember on "normal" setting I was able to attack in succession while having the ground targeting circle, did Anet changed they way grenade kit 1 works? Llethander.3972
No, that's the way the ground targetted skills have always worked, Grenade Kit 1 included. Either you hit the skill twice to cast, cast on button release, or you get no targetting indicator and the attack launches as soon as the button is pressed. Ivantreil.3092
The solution to this is allow insta cast in aoe skills, this is the only way to make Grenade aa as fluid as like if it was a normal aa, and its great imo, you get used to by overtime and improves some things imo. Lumpy Forehead.2193
Ok sorry guys, my fault, forget what I have said. It turns out that I had an option enabled in my gaming mouse program that allowed me to cast grenade 1 continuously, by-passing GW2's in-game limitation.
