Price But No Item Details?

Is there a reason why some items can show up in the /commerce API but not /items?(Does it happen the other way around sometimes?)

For example, Chag (Led Into Darkness)

• Has a price: https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/commerce/prices/82975
• But returns "no such ID" to query its details: https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/items/82975

This is also true for

• 82989 Aloeth, Revel in Ruin of Severance
• 84540 Sama, Profane the Wondrous of Severance
• 84732 Thag, Cycle of Tears of Severance

This discrepancy has been around for 2.5 months or so (i.e. since right after PoF launched). I'm sure folks with robust error-checking scripts can find (or have found) other examples. So I assume that stuff like this has been reported to ANet. So I'm more curious about how this happens.

This seems to cause a glitch with the TP tracking sites: notably GW2TP, GW2 Spidy, & even GW2 BLTC don't see the item at all (even by ID alone).

Safe to say it does happen the other way around. Acessing the /commerce/prices endpoint returns only 24687 results (at the moment), whereas /items lists 60200.

It seems reasonable that items which are account bound on acquire wouldn't show up in the /commerce API (though i haven't tested this apart from on a single item (Mystic Clover)).

As far as the larger issue goes, no idea. I will note that not every Named Mordant Weapon doesn't show up in /items. (Since all four examples we have so far that don't show up appear there, i thought it was worth pointing out).

Thanks for the updates, @alleryn.1906.Hopefully whoever takes over from @Lawton Campbell.8517 can setup something automated so that, going forward, if something shows up in /commerce, it also will appear in /items.

Not sure if this info is useful to anyone, but as i'm building my own local database, i came across the ids for output items in /recipes that are not currently in /items (all the ingredients in /recipes are accounted for). A number of them seem to have been added in since @DarkMagister.7429 's post which i quoted above. Anyhow, in case it's useful here's the current list.
