KingKunta.8936
Hi Guys,This might be a stupid questions, however im currently playing gw2 from my mac ,which has a HDD. Im thinking of upgrading it to SSD. Now I know that SSD is muchbetter then a HDD, but my question is, is it better to play from an External SSD, orshould i replace the current HDD with an SSD. I would prefer getting an external SSDand just use that for gw2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

SuperduperMLGbsns.9345
No idea how good external SSD are compared to internal but if you want to run this with USB 2.0 transfer standart you better not waste your money further.

mauried.5608
Ive been playing from a normal USB2 hard drive (not a SSD) , and the only noticable differances are is that the game takes a lot longer to start, and changing maps is a lot slower, but apart from that there is very little obvious differance. KrHome.1920
Map loading times will be significantly longer when running the game from an external USB 3.0 HDD compared to an internal SATAIII SSD. The difference between an internal SATAIII HDD and an external USB 3.0 HDD is negligible.
