I forget almost everything about the game but I have an 80 ranger and am wondering if I should go back or start over. Are players likely to help or teach me or do I need to relearn on my own. That said I'm mostly a PvE guy not a PvP guy so if you're interested in PvP, I won't be much help.Restarting is also an option it'll just take longer. mercury ranique.2170 Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 Just my thoughts. Vanilla is now free to play. So even with others you will feel limited towards others. GW2 has no real vertical progression, but lacking the elite specializations and mounts and gliding will not let you experience the current game fully. For 95% the game will be the same for you as it was three years ago, while the people you play with have everything unlocked.
