I respectfully disagree.

I think the DE's design is orthogonal to AoE. The good thing about Mark is that it refreshes on death, which together with trickery means you get access to a ton of Steal procs that you wouldn't otherwise, so while you are forced to go from mob to mob, the constant initiative refresh and buffing makes up for it.

With Ricochet, DE P/P would be too strong, because having constant mark refreshes together with AoE is combining two different solutions to the same problem.

If anything, I would make Ricochet a part of Daredevil somehow, but I have no idea of what trait it could be tacked to :)

I think it would make DE feel more like a gun spec than just rifle spec. I tried playing DE in HOT which is like a bench mark for hard mobs in my opinion and I was just getting hammered because I couldn't kill multiple opponents fast enough and with having to be rooted the thief core survival mechanics of movement and stealth were removed.
