PIPS - Unidentified Dyes

Are these with identifying or just selling on TP? I only seem to get shitty dyes so seems like a waste but not exactly hurting for gold either with them only like 30S a pop. Just wondering if it’s purely RNG or the more dyes you have, the higher chance to get rare ones?

Based on drop rate data (published & personal), it's almost never been worth opening. On average, you'll end up with more coin if you sell them directly, especially at custom prices (rather than instant-sell). The exceptions have all happened during periods of major market disruptions in the dye market, the likes of which we have seen for years. As a bonus, selling also takes far less effort.

This is right. Also, the dyes are rng no matter how many you have. You can get duplicates of the same color.
