Funeral Procession Event

Okay Anet,

How many hours do I have to wait? It has been like 6 hours in one sitting and another 2-3 in another. With zero information on this event available, and doing every event near Necropolis, I cannot get the event to start. This is blocking progress, and it is becoming irritating. I just want to finish my Achievements and move onto the next goal. Is that too much to ask? I could be doing other things, but I can't while I'm trying to get this event done.

Please fix.

When the event starts you get a message on your screen about it, then you talk to the Receiving Attendant out by the front of the fountain, and he'll point to where the procession is at, its a defense-escort, and ive only ever seen it show up twice from all the time I've spent in Vabbi

I know what it is, I have just never seen it and it's the last thing I have to do, so it's frustrating.

Yeah, I saw it pop up once a couple of days ago, after several hours of waiting. Its timer is really long. :\

I keep going to and around the necropolis at dawn and dusk with no sign of this event spawning. Is there some trick to it?

I'd advise not to wait by the attendant, it starts without speaking to him. The start location is near the bridge on the road north of the Necropolis. What triggers the event is anyone's guess though, I just waited there with a few people and it started after about 30 minutes.
