Mac client keeps crashing

I'm playing on a 2017 MacBook Pro TouchBar 15 and I keep crashing within a minute or two of logging in. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, is there a solution?

Thanks!

client version: Guildwars2 64 bit

Is this a new problem that has just started recently? Have you tried doing a rebuild/reinstall of the game client and rebooting your computer?

I took a break from playing since mid January. I tried coming back on a couple times this month but it crashes within a minute. I'm now installing the client again but now the install doesn't even finish before GW2 crashes.

Yes, I've tried rebooting my comp.

I cant even press show details - it's frozen. I have to force quit it. This is so ridiculous - haven't been able to play for weeks. Probably will submit a ticket unless anyone else has advice?

Was able to access it now. It says assertion: launcher: browser crashed. Error 7.

@Lord Warfin.1209 said:There are already two other threads on the same subject. It seems the problem has something to do with missing/corrupted high quality textures in the Wintersday update. Try reducing your texture quality and maybe a few other graphics settings to medium or low and that might fix the crashing. It has for me so far.

They should merge all three threads...
