Imagine releasing content that no hardcore WvW player wanted like a mount. Then removing everything that mount does, a couple years later because it was a bad idea then, that nobody wanted and it's a even more pointless thing to have now.

Imagine being being a company that has a game. That takes it's balance approach based on the complaints and suggestions of players that have no idea what is good for the game.

Good example.Some wvw player got zerged down, then complain to Anet that x class is overpowered.

Anet listens to said player. It never occurs to the player or Anet the reason that player died was not because of some skill being overturned. "The reason the player died is they got zerged down. The skill is irrelevant. **

Here is the problem with that type of balancing, all it is doing is hurting smaller groups and making larger groups more powerful. Because that smaller group needs to utilize those abilities combined with higher skill to beat more numbers. When you remover that it doesn't change the fact that jonny got zerged down.

So instead of helping the game every time Anet does this it makes it worst. This is why all the players that actually understand what is going on here are Mad.

@Anet2014People have asked us for a PvP map for team deathmatch gameplay, now they play it on Legacy of the Foefire or whatever, lul. We're gonna make them a map, it's easy!@Anet2015We have made a new game mode, with Moba... and leaderboards! Baggghhh, forget about the new game mode!@Anet2020Our long term goal for PvP is a 20v20 map and system for team deatchmatch gameplay. It's comming sometime.

@Anet2014The communities in WvW are like Alliances in a sense, going forward [after Megaservers] we can look into exploring that further

@Anet2015We have been working on a major WvW overhaul for a year now, it is getting prioritized because it is more important for the game overall

@Anet2016We will fly people out to help us with what to do with WvW. Population imbalance is still the #1 issue and it is important to address

@Anet2018We will fix Population imbalance with this World Restructuring system that has Alliances

@Anet2019 (spring)Alliances is the next big thing for WvW, we will group it with things like rune salvage and build templates in the timeline. The programming team is focused on it.

@Anet2019 (autumn)We promise that we have not forgotten about Alliances, it is the next big thing, it is important, we look forward to talking more about it in the comming months
