Alva.4590 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 So.. we all know that the condi meta is very strong and pretty annoying. And to be honest, playing against that is very hard. Even if you're class is good at condi cleansing taking up more than 10 conditions (and all of them are stacking) is just horrible and leaves no room for pure power builds at the moment.Wouldn't it be better to set something up like a condition cap? So that a player won't take more than 5 conditions at 1 time and not more like 5 stacks per condition?
sokeenoppa.5384 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 No. Some1 without condi build hits those 5 (insert conditions) stacks and now real condi build does 0 dmg
ellesee.8297 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 A way to improve PvP is to get better PvP devs. Only a complete moran could say, "Hey guys remember dhuumfire? Let's do that again but bigger and also aoe".#notmydev

Markri.9475 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Stack capping would be harsh. Running 5 power builds would still be viable, but five condi wouldnt be. Ideally condi/power are equally viable.Even if condi might be overtuned, my concern is its not as actively played and counterd as direct damage. The dodge mechanic prevents direct damage, does nothing against dots. Everyone got different availability to cleanses/invurlnabilities but everyone has dodge(two). Id like to see condi be required to actively hit targets for their full damage. So something like if the enemy hasnt been hit by your attacks the last two seconds all of your condies on that target do only half damage each tick. Hitting the target brings the damage up to the base damage for another two seconds.(duration of the condi is unaffected).Meaning if you keep engaging your target your damage doesnt drop. And if the enemy dodges or disengages the dots will hurt less if they are successful. Current level of condi damage might be more managable that way.
