Can’t use axe (Mirage)?

I have the feeling this is going to be a stupid question, but I can’t find what it is that I’m doing wrong. I have just unlocked Mirage completely with Hero Points but I cannot use the axe. I can equip it an all, and I have chosen Mirage in the build pannel or whatever it is called. However, when I equip the axe, the skills are kind of faded and say that they’re 0% unlocked. Any help?

Firstly, double check you have the Mirage specialization equipped.

Then, if you're 100% sure you've got it equipped and this problem still occurs, try swapping weapons a few times as the game sometimes bugs out with unlocking weapon skills.

I tried swapping weapons and although it didn’t work it was a bug in the end, I guess. It started working after I clicked on a merchant, for some reason.
